@maxninja09 It's a gameplay issue. After performing a long down scratch, your hand is in an awkward position. You have the opportunity to move the turntable upwards while hitting more buttons. If long up scratches were implemented, the game would think you are doing that and you would get misses.
@Sursion7 I wouldn't think the issue would be due to the gameplay, i know there are some sections in this mix (and others) that could have used an up scratch, also depending on how dexterious your hand is, you won't really be in an awkward position after a long down scratch (or you know how to handle the game well on Expert). I mean i don't see why there shouldn't be up scratches, but i guess the game didn't include it for some unknown reason. Would have been a bit of a challenge imo :P
