HALOO CHEEFFF!
2 of my fav chef in one eps? lesgooo 🔥🔥🔥
Keren kak!
You didn't have to include the shot of you accidentally dropping the spoon into the pot, but you did and I appreciate that.
a nice little unspoken treat
Definitely related to him hard here when he dropped that spoon.
"And then I opted to return the chicken** to the pot so that it could finish together with the sauce."
**and also the spoon. (The spoon wanted to be delicious too.)

The way Andrew's knife skills have improved. It's soooooo satisfying to watch.
Agreed lol. Why are the simplest things always so satisfying?
Really wanna see Andrew does carrots at some point. Recently we got put under covid lockdown and after a while all everyone has in their pantry is dozens of carrots 😂
Carrots are such a great option. Carrot fenugreek leaf stir fry, carrot halwa are two dishes that celebrate carrot really well where I come from.
Where do you live that you still have lockdowns? China?
@@LM-te9qj Yup
If he does the carrot steak from worth it he is a gigachad
Carrot cake is also a good way to use carrots.
I'm trilled! Mushrooms were something I requested. I hope that he does something with Carrots, Coconuts and Honey too in future.
What about something less common like asperagus?
Have you heard about their products
I hate carrots but i would really love to see different ways it can be treated. There might be something good out there.

Definitely carrots please...need ideas

Why is no one talking about this shot? Its a unique technique of spreading the liquid evenly and it was done so beautifully & effortlessly! I loved it.
Hi Andrew, I would love to see an episode on aubergines/eggplants/brinjals. They are so versatile, and can there are a lot of varieties within the vegetable as well. Gutti vankay, Vankaya pachadi, Baingan ka bharta/chokha, Badanekayi gojju, Ennai kathirikai, are all the dishes I ate growing up. I also know that Italian cuisine loves aubergines, and so do many other Eastern European and Mediterranean countries (Ajvar and aubergine lasagna being my favourite dishes). I would like to know more about how other cultures also celebrate this vegetable, so I request you to make an episode on aubergines/eggplants/brinjals.
dude, were you the one who recommended the thakalli curry in the tomato video? if yes, you're awesomeeee!
@@dyno4383 It was me! Thank you 😅
I second this! As a vegetarian, aubergines are my number one favourite 'meaty' base for a dish.
Eggplants are so delicious, hope he does one episode on them
I love putting aubergines in pasta, just cut them into quarter slices and pan fry with some cumin
I was actually thinking about recommending this video because I want to learn more mushroom recipes, yes!!! Love these videos!!!

as an Indonesian, the Jamur Goreng sent me!! that's like a very nostalgic middle school holiday snack (i used to get it when i visited my cousin) 🍄 thanks for featuring Indonesian dish, hope to see more!
Edit: I'm rewatching this vid and suddenly got an idea: could you do eggs/carrots/corn? I am curious of your choice of dishes for those ingredients! Or maybe do it with the others on "Tell Us What You Made" 😀 any serie in this channel is great!

I grew up where Morels grow wild and I miss going out hunting and eating them dredged in flour and fried in butter. Such a good time!

I really like this series. I would like to see you make a series with condiments or herbs like Tahini, Thai basil, kaffir lime leaves or chili black bean paste.
Have you heard about their products
I've been wanting a tahini episode for a while! It's so versatile, can be savory and sweet, and it's always in my pantry.
@@markmick3777 no I didn’t know they sold products.

Your Mushroom Toast dish is gorgeous. The way you plated it made it look like a dish out of the series 'Hannibal' with Mads Mikkelsen. The flowers were a nice touch.

Yaas. Hannibal literally has the tastiest dishes in TV history ever

please do radish! i feel that this ingredient is so underrated, and its always something that i look forward to seeing in a dish simply because they absorb flavours so well and can take on various textures. nonetheless, great video as always :) thanks ATE team!
omg yes! the variety of pickled radishes
I would love to see radish too. Radish stuffed flat bread (Mooli paratha), Radish sambhar, Mullangi majjigapulusu are my favourite radish dishes.
Andre gives me bob belcher energy . He’s so chill but really cares about his food.

Can we get a kitchen tour? Kitchen tools specifically, that knife looks legit
He has published a video regarding his knife. I believe it's on this channel.
YAS!!!!!! I have been waiting for the mushroom episode since you started the series! I love mushrooms!
Also, I appreciate you leaving the take of you dropping the spoon into the pan lol.
Seeing you cook a large number of eggs would be cool. Especially using different types of eggs for different flavors or cultures uses.

Absolutely brilliant. I want all the mushrooms, right now. But more importantly, out of nowhere CZcams suggested this video today, which I have now shared with a host of friends, and I will begin binging your channel for the rest of the day. Thank you for being so awesome & educational! Exactly what I needed to watch.
The pure quality of these videos is amazing. Andrew is so talented
Love this series! You should do Aubergine/Eggplant - imo hands down the most versatile, delicious veg out there.

About to Eat really brings you an experience as you watch. Truly one of a kind channel. 👌🏽
I love this series so much. Andrew's voice is so relaxing and the food looks great.
i thoroughly enjoy this series, it's very fun to see all of the applications of an ingredient come to life. honestly, i think because i've seen him cover butter & potatoes, i'm extremely curious to see him tackle other "staple" ingredients to see how everyone uses them. eggs come to mind, but also corn.
Love the series. Love mushrooms. Would love to see you and Rie visit a mushroom farm!
I sells the best shrumps, LSD and other psychedelic products
Yes please visit the mushroom farm!!!!
This might be my favourite episode yet from this series.
This is one of the best cooking shows on CZcams period! Learning so much and getting into the mood to experiment.
I am constantly finding new dishes here that I would actually, seriously, be able to cook and enjoy. Love this channel
I've heard so many good things about mushrooms and it's health benefits, I also heard it helps one get through addiction and depression. Am just wondering where to purchase cause I'll love to give it a try
Wanna try, but keep being told I can’t do it alone for the first time but I’d literally be so much more comfortable alone

when i tried shrooms i ate way more than i should of because i thought they wouldn’t work and then my face got numb and i threw up shrooms and my friend was laughing but trying to comfort me and the bathroom lights were flickering cuz they were old and i had to go home
@@ugmiles. yeah, He has variety of stuffs like mushrooms, LSD, DMT even the chocolate bars
I'm absolutely in love with this series. It's teaching me so much.❤️
The garnishing and arrangement of the toast was absolutely stunning. Also, thank you Andrew for recommending those tongues. I use them for absolutely everything.
I absolutely love to cook but I haven’t been able to in a while due to contamination ocd. Watching these videos gives me so much comfort and satisfaction because of that. Cooking is such a beautiful art and ATE showcases perfectly. Thanks you
Wow that mushroom toast was gorgeous looking. Excellent work!
It's very fun to think back on those "we tried 3 versions" videos and then see Andrew in his own kitchen, attempting to recreate that experience.
I think that's the most enjoyable thing out of this channel for me. Just one guy being so delighted by food, that he wants to learn more about it and make it himself - with all the pitfalls and unexpected issues along the way.
Great job, Andrew.
Worth It really changed Andrew, it really changed him into this 'Food Researcher' chill guy that we see today, I think it is fantastic.
I gotta try that Jamur Goreng. That looks amazing. This whole series is fantastic, Andrew. I would not have thought it would work well, but we get such a variety of recipes that it's really fun.
finding this channel has been an absolute blessing. I made the naive mistake of thinking you guys were content creators who focused on food from back in the day, but this channel highlights and shows the true depth of your passion for cooking and amazing ingredients. A pleasure to watch.
My word! That Jamur Goreng looks absolutely freaking divine! I have GOT to try and make that.
Some ideas (some may be lame): Daikon, Horseradish root, Leeks, Coconut, Greens (like Collard, Mustard, etc.) Love these videos.
I think the beauty of this series is that the examination of any one of these ingredients would be interesting.
I love this series! And Andrew is such a great host. I want to see someone enjoying his creations!
I love this channel sm. I run to watch the new episodes every time
To elevate your mushroom risotto even more, I’d recommend toasting the rice in truffle butter ☺️
everything seemed very tasty! Especially those fried mushrooms!! Just a quick note, I'm sure it tasted delicious but we don't really use garlic in risotto, especially minced because it could be overwhelming for the other flavors! some Italian chefs don't even use onion or wine for their risotto because they want the toasted rice to be the main protagonist of the dish. Anyway, you do you and if you liked it and enjoyed it then I don't see any problem in it!
this is why people dislike italian people when it comes to food
This is such a great, straightforward channel. Love it!❤
Man, Andrew just makes me happy. He went from lil grumpy boy in season 1 of worth it who had an acceptable understanding of food to someone who really understood what the ethos of the show Worth It was, to understand what separates a cheap dish from an expensive one, and his hunger for knowledge and self improvement have exploded with this series.
His knife skills, pan flipping, dish choice and complexity, and general level of comfort in tackling some incredibly challenging cooking processes (not necessarily just in this video) are just so satisfying to watch
I would love to see an episode of leeks!!
They are so versatile and often overlooked
I would love to see various pickles of all sorts, lemons prepared many ways, clams, and Korean BBQ items. Also hot pot, including Chinese, Japanese and Korean styles. Keep it up! I also think cabbage is highly underrated, and is used in so many different cultures, cuisines.
Have you heard about their product
this is my favorite cooking series on youtube!
That was so pleasing to watch, both information wise, but also from an aesthetic perspective - Exceptional camera/editing work.
Now I am craving some mushrooms.
That toast looks soooo good :b
It would be cool to see an episode about spinach or lettuce, or any other leafy green, because honestly I have no idea how to use them except for salads lol
omg yes!
You can stir-fry vegetables with garlic and soy sauce(or any sauce), boil with gochujang(miso works too), use in wrap etc.

I liked everything about this video but one thing: Mushroom won't just taste like their surrounding. There are mushrooms in the forrest that taste like garlic, smell like anise, or can substitute a chili in your dish. The diversity in taste is enormous!
I like the series. Its focus on one ingredient, its look, feel, and the commentary with passion reminds me of David Rosengarten's Taste. Thanks!
Omgoodness! Best episode yet! I would cook and eat every one of these recipes!
I love this series and I was looking forward to mushrooms.
I would like to see chocolate to see molè sauce or other savoury uses as well as desserts.
Also chickpeas as I think aquafaba increases their versatility

you should cook more indonesian food! there’s alot of indonesian cuisine that you must know and try because every food has different variety and taste👍🏻
Thank you! I always learn new things from these videos!
these videos are the best. ive tried so much stuff and its been amazing! thank you!!
I've heard so many wonderful things about magic mushrooms but I can't easily get some, Is there any realiable source I can purchase from??
Jamur goreng is the best 👍🏻
My favorite episode so far! Loving it!
yum! All of these look so good. I love this series.
I would like to see a 🌽 episode!
11:47 not me sobbing bc of the way andrew described mushrooms--
it sounds so beautiful
Love this series :) I'd love to see you return to this after like a year to see what else you have learned and how you incorporate your new dishes/techniques have made there way into your daily life. Also I want to see more onion dishes lol
this is an old ish video but one of my absolute fave mushroom recipes is diri djon djon. It's a haitian rice dish and it is made with dried black mushrooms and i absolutely love it soooooooooo much!!! So glad I found this video. It's given me more things to try with mushrooms.
This is a really interesting series and Andrew is very entertaining and enjoyable to listen to ✨
I really enjoy this series!!! I love mushrooms and when the morels came, Dang!!! That's $60+ of just morels! My parents had a secret spot to forage them, I remember gallon bags full. So so yummy!
Thank you for all this kind of videos! Learn a lot!
this video is my fave in this series by far
The mushroom toast turned out so pretty...the flowers added so much beauty
I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH
I loved ALL the recipes in this video. Extremely satisfying to watch!

loved the garlic and mushroom videos!!!! great ideas
As someone who has just recently started to enjoy mushrooms, this video is very helpful in giving me inspiration on how to enjoy eating them. Thanks for the ideas Andrew!
This is my new favourite series.
This toast looked excellent! 😄 Nice touch with the flowers. 👌🏼
Been waiting for this one!
Wow! The pasta and the toast were highlights for me. Well done, using the flowers from the onion!
The risotto looks amazing! Can't wait to try it
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS EPISODE 😍😍🍄
Glad to see my requested mushroom video was fulfilled, I hope there will be a part 2 with unpopular mushrooms such as Lion's Mane
Man! Andrew's narration throughout the whole series though 😍
Wow that simple duxelles pasta looked absolutely delicious. My mom loves mushrooms, I’ll definitely be cooking that for her!
very approachable and innocuous!
I love this series. I am always on a tight budget but i try to make different dishes with the same cheaper veggies/products all the time. It shows it can be still special without getting too expensive.
I hope to see episodes with brussels sprouts, kale, leeks or rice.
Love the series ❤️❤️
love this series
That pasta duxelle sauce was genius... great way to have a quick and easy meal. Will try!
Really love this series, i would be SO HAPPY if u did a carrot episode. My morrocan dad said that "the carrot is king of vegetables" bc he put it in every dish and i still do it (spiced carrots in a tajine dish are the best) 🥕🧡🥕🧡🥕
My brother saw ur first ever video after like a day it was uploaded. He showed me these videos and I'm absolutely loving this series
Oh man this looks amazing I'm definitely coming over to your house whenever you make this 😍😍😍
Great series! Thanks!
Yes Mushrooms finally! They're so underappreciated!
Gorgeous dishes! I can’t wait to try the fried mushroom dish (jamur goreng?) someday! I think an episode about mint would be really interesting. Mint is used across so many cuisines in both desserts and entrees, not to mention there are so many kinds!
oh that's so cool! I always make my risotto with dried mushrooms, in pretty much the same way. It comes it so flavorful and requires so little ingredients, it's an easy to make fancier than usual dinner. Usually I just use the water from the mushrooms as stock, or maybe i add a little dashi powder. Damn i really want to eat some risotto now
I love mushrooms!!! This video is just what I was looking for
Another awesome video!! Thank you!!
