I prefer my S23 with the Snapdragon chip over an S24 with the Exynos
the S24 Exynos still more efficient and powerful, even if the last year S23 is enough for you.
@@casuarius6576 until it overheats lol
@@Pawcio2115 not much like Qualcomm, lol.
@@casuarius6576 you must be tripping rn. Snapdragon chips overheats only when Samsung manufactures them instead of TSMC
@@Pawcio2115 you must coping if you don't think that Samsung foundry has the opportunity to recover again after its failures.
I'll give you one example, the Qualcomm SD 810, being manufactured by TSMC and was a complete failure in terms of performance and efficiency, the overheating made it slower than it was, reason why Samsung shipped worldwide the Exynos 7420.
for everyone arguing for the exynos chip, there is a reason samsung didnt put it into the ultra series, so think again.
correct!
The reason is people like you will criticize exynos 2400 even if it is actually good this year.
@@sholmes_ttyy Then why not put it in the ultra ?
This is what I've been searching for! Thank you.
S24 snapdragon has
*Better battery life
*Better camera processing
*Better game optimization
*Better over heat control.
*Better signal strength.
Then the exnos version.
Nope, only better efficiency at 5G due to the modem, camera processing is the same, performance done by other channels doesn't show any significant difference, game optimisation doesn't count since isn't the processor fault if one game isn't optimised at it, heating is similar on both under similar condition.
@@casuarius6576 how much are you paid for doing Samsung's PR work?
@@dhivydhimanth1960 nothing, because they don't need me to pay to say fact, are you bothered by the truth when someone says it? Contrary to what brainwashed people with pathetic hate thye have?
S24 also provides 7yrs update
@@casuarius6576 then why did samsung never equip exynos to the ultra series?
I currently have the Samsung Galaxy A10e, but when I find myself a job, I highly looking forward to upgrading to a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra! I LOVE the way it's shaped honestly, the various colors we can choose from before buying, the crisp graphics, and those 3 cameras! I'm so excited! 🤩❤❤❤❤❤❤👍🏽
S23 is still a wise choice. I bought it for 42k rs. Worth the money

I was hoping you can compare the samsung galaxy s24 exynos vs s24 snapdragon
I bought the s23 not long ago and I really liked it, my first high-end device, I had a Moto One Vision before
Same here... Will keep it up to when they release S27 and see if it will be worth upgrading. As for now S23 it's an amazing phone
Which soc did the s24 have which you compare to here?
GSMArena has an Exynos variant of S24.
comparison between galaxy s23 plus and s24 plus? also between galaxy s23 ultra vs. galaxy s24 ultra
You had me at 7 years software support updates for the S24 over 4 years for the S23(and 1 already used up)
great review
Why no microphone 🎤 test?
S23+ vs 24+ review please 😊
I got the S23 a few days back for 47.5k INR , quite a steal I would say. And enjoying the performance so far although i haven't put it to full throttle use . Cons: I agree i got it for cheap but spending almost 50k on a phone and not getting the charger in-box is funny 🤣. Also that too 25 W. Other than that great size of the phone, feels damn premium, photos , videos , performance all great. It was heating a lot while charging at first but i updated the one ui and did some settings now it is smooth as butter.
I got it for 47 K 128 GB model but with charger and insurance .
Man can u tell what settings u adjusted mine is hot as hell
@@zoulxgaming8261 Bro, upgrade to the latest UI and security patch, next switch off the location settings and the unnecessary ones in the home screen. Optimise it to your usage, it would drastically reduce the heating level.
@@Bewithsumit s23 50k 256GB variant on official website nd flipkart and offline. So sad u got only 128 gb
Now the S24 is cheaper than S23.
S23 has better photos and videos quality as they have Snapdragon. GSMarena s24 model has 💩 Exynos- that's why
Aren't they from the US? There is no Exynos chip there
exynos much better in photos and videos processing
@@mehdichihab do you live in a parallel universe?

@@Pawcio2115 No I've seen a lot of reviews
just buy the s24 with snapdragon if you can't find one just buy the s23 the main reason why they never use exynos in ultra is because it's trash
Gosh please help me decide!! I have Samsung Galaxy A72. Was extremely happy with this phone for 3 years. Looking to buy Samsung Galaxy S24, or S23 or S23FE. From what i got the best between the 3 is S24 and S23. I can get both for almost the same price(there is a massive discount at one shop for S24); I am going to miss the bigger screen size though. The rest is an obvious upgrade.
I'm from India :
Sold s23 to buy s24.. now sold s24 to get s23.. huge loss of money..
S24 Exynos really bad.. photos videos and battery life worst..
After oneui6.1 is the photo processing the same on either phone as the hardware has not changed? The fingerprint sensor on the S23 was absolute trash is it better on S24?
whats wrong with the fingerprint on s23? i had mine for a month now and never had any problem
What SOT are you getting after oneui6.1 update on S23
So..without getting into the tech, I have an S10E. It works fine, the battery life is just a bit annoying now.
Is this worth upgrading for someone who casually uses their phone for CZcams, whatsapp, insta, spotify etc? I dont game on phones, nor do I care much for AI and all that stuff as I feel the novelty would eventually wear off.
So for a casual user, whats the basic upgrades? As in, what would you tell your granddad if he was gonna upgrade from a smart phone? Lol
There is no snaodragon in my country so which s24 exynos vs s23 snaldragon ?
S23 obviously
Do you want to pay way more for slightly more? S24
If not, S23
Depends what are you willing to do on these devices? Use it for demanding tasks such as video editing, emulation gaming and long software support reliability, go for the S24, want something more value/money wise that still has top notch performance but less software support and same software features, go for the S23.
Either s23 or wait for s25 which is going to be 30% better
How do i check if my country version is exynos or snapdragon?
Thanks for this! I've been thinking recently about upgrading my Galaxy S7. I'm not ready quite yet, but I've been leaning towards the S24 mainly because of the 7 years of software support.
Also I spend lots of time watching CZcams videos, so the S24's extra endurance when doing so looks super promising!
Just do it, you won't regret it.
Same im upgrading from S20 and I am so lost, is the S24 worth it compared to S23 ?
@@clarapimontnogues3156 nah, only if you're planning to use the phone for 7 years
@@clarapimontnogues3156 this is tempting. Most users avoided exynos S24 due to battery usage.
There is no incentive to get the s24.
Best buy had S23 on clearance for $280. At that price it's a no brainer if you like that size.
Watching this on my recently bought S23 as I don't have the option to get the S24 SD variant ☺️
Nice haircut man
GSMArena is always the best❤❤❤
Although id like more flat sides and thinner bezels - im keeping my S23 : VERY satisfied with it overall!
Will NEVER go back to ios / apple. Never.
I may consider the Z Fold 6 or the S25
It's like an identical phone with some minor updates...
I got the s24 as an upgrade for my contract. It's weirder though because s23 is more expensive with Vodafone contracts. Oh well.
You didn't even mention which SoC was in your S24 unit that you used for the photo and video comparison...
He used the Exynos 2400 variant, not differences whatsoever with the Qualcomm variant, except on modem efficiency.
I was planning on getting the s23 but the 4 year software support is a deal breaker - i might spend the extra money to get the 24 just to secure a future proof phone
7 years of software updates is good no doubt but will you really use your phone for 7 years? And also s23 will still get updates till 2027 so it's not bad either you can upgrade your s23 to s26 or s27 or which one will be the latest in 2027 so no point in spending extra money just for extra years of software updates support
I assumed you compared the battery of S24 Snapdragon version? There is no way Exynos would have the same run time under load than S23 Snap.
It has in many reviews and its even better sometimes. Calling on 4g/5g is where the exynos sometimes falls behind. Besides that its very cool and stable. in video its way better. There is no big difference like SD810 crap or SD888 crap, where exynos was better. they are neck to neck now
Got the S24 128 GB a month ago for 500 dollars. That was a good price. It is my first flagship.
That is insane. I got my A55 for $450, where did you find an S24 for $500?!
@GameOver-nm2us
I live in Scandinavia, and in Scandinavia, we have a huge tech store called Elgiganten (Danish name). Every time Elgiganten opens a new store, they have insane discounts in that specific store. I went to a newly opened store and got my S24 for 3499 kr., which is approximately $500.
@@GameOver-nm2usmost likely a 3rd party shop that usually can sell cheaper than samsung store or big name store
there is no 128 gig version of s24. 256 and 512gb only.
@tommyfield8449 Got it for big discount in a store called Elgiganten. It's the biggest tech store in Denmark.
Two words.
SAME. LEVEL. 🤣

I have the s24 regular snapdragon. It heats up quite a bit
Ensure your apps and OS is up to date - a release just debuted yesterday BTW.
Then clear app cache. Close ALL apps and reboot. That should resolve.
It seems despite s24 being out there like that s23 still has value, at the same time though its quite meh
Indeed the S23 rocks!
S23 has value because of the upgraded snapdragon chip, the s22 model is a disaster in comparison
Samsung galaxy s23 or iphone 13? Which one should a choose?
S23 IS MILES BETTER THAN IPHONE 13
exynos 2400 is comparable to sd 8gen3 except the gaming performance that is still similar to 8gen2
I got s23.. better than 24
The way S22 has thinner bezels than S23
Well i live in Europe and the S24's "better chipset" ain't that much better than the one on s23.
I have s23 and perfectly happy with it but, s23 camera was already 2 years old. So, i cannot recommend the 3 year old camera of s24 as of now.anyone looking for an upgrade should go for an s23 or wait for s25.
What SOT are you getting after one UI 6.1 update on s23?

snapdragon process better photos than exynos
It doesn't, only in some escenarios, but can't beat Exynos.
Choose S24 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
S23 better choice 👌
Still s23 is batter
I dont own either phones, but I'm planning on getting the S24 over the S23 because of Samsung promising 7 years of updates; furthermore its more powerful benchmarks and slightly better camera.
Hey, go for the S23. There's a big price difference and you'll get three years of updates (one year has already passed). The only real difference between the two is the AI, but that's not really a big deal anymore. I've had both phones and the AI works just as well on the S23 as it does on the S23 Ultra. And for the 30k difference, which is a lot of money, it's just not worth it. You could just get the S23 and then trade it in for the S25 or S26 when they come out. You'll get better NPUs and probably a lot more AI capabilities. Why spend extra money for features that aren't really that significant? And Samsung's trade-in program is the best in the market. You can easily trade in your S23 for the S25 or S26 for half the price or even more. Trust me, the S23 is the way to go. It's even better than the S24 in some ways, like battery drain during calls and better thermals.
Why is samsung calling the s24 with the exynos chip a flagship if the s24 snapdragon is better

Samsung didn't really know what they are doing. They love to follow Apple.
This year it hasn't been any downgrade, only incremental upgrades over its predecessor.

I call BS on the brightness. Or atleast the colors on the screen. This s24 color vivid is garbage. I've been messing with the settings for 3 days. The colors on my s20 were better
I used to had the S24 , photos were atrocious , I’ve returned it and bought a iPhone 15 Pro Max and it’s way better now
I assume you bought the base model, even if the S24 series have processing issues due to the software, it's unfair comparing it to the top iPhone model of the last year.
@@casuarius6576 Yes, initially I had the basic S 24. Actually, I wanted a small phone because that's what I prefer, but unfortunately the pictures were really atrocious; honestly, they were bad. You should have got the s24 ultra
@@allenjesis for real, if you've the top tier iPhone model or another top tier flagship model from another brand, and you're planning to switch to Samsung you should get the top model of the Samsung flagship devices in order to get the best experience overall, I'm my opinion even the plus model would have been a better choice compared to the base S24 model.
