Questrogue has so many counters and gets beaten up by most decks played in the meta. It has some decks it just can't lose too, but now it will also lose to those. Instead of balancing the quest, they just make it completly useless to play. Thats some bullshit. But thats just the way blizzard "balanced" cards in the past. Most cards that got nerfed never ever see any use anymore.

So Quest Rogue didn't need nerfing. It was a pretty shitty deck. But it was also stupid as fuck to make to begin with. The archetype is essentially solitaire. It was never going to be fun for the game. This is how you DON'T do bounce mechanics. Shadowverse does bounce mechanics right. Hearthstone did not. So I guess by removing the stupid deck that shouldn't have existed to start with they undid their stupid idea to make the deck?

the most amount of skill in this game comes from deckbuilding, and deciding whether to hit an opponents minion or face. quest mechanics in general tell you what kind of deck to make and how to play your match, then reward your lack of creativity with an o.p. reward. the win or lose decision to kill an opponents minion or go face doesn't occur much in quest rogue, all moves are quit obvious to make. just luck of draw and try and survive since most cards add moree 5/5 value to your hand
when have you seen so many viable decks? quest rogue made aggro decks have a target and control decks stay in check, control is already broken and they want to get rid of it direct and only counter

Because there is no state in which Quest rogue has this intermediate level of being better against aggro and worse against control. Like, what do you think would be an apropriate change to get it there? Make the quest unable to be prepped out? It's worse both against aggro and control. Reduce the stats on the minions? Still worse against control. Make the buff removable? Still worse against control. The Rogue Quest is inherently too volatile to be ever balanceable.

"usually" turn 4-5 is a highroll usually people finish the quest one 6-7 now it will be on 9-10 so the deck is basiclly dead
