Self care is something I have had to work on since I am a caregiver for my mom and I work in healthcare. I love taking care of people because its natural for me. However, I have learned to practice self-care during the pandemic after experiencing excruciating loss. Thank you for this segment.
This is good. I have an aunt that I randomly visit and we just watch TV and movies and enjoy each other's company.
I’ve decided that the second half of my year will be better than the first half. Taking baby steps to move my body more with daily walks. Spin twice a week and hikes on Sundays. It’s only been two weeks but I’ve got
some people willing to keep my accountable so that I remain consistent in the long haul.

I Confess For Years i did not think I was worth self-care. But in this year I have been maximizing time and establishing boundaries and Praying and Protecting my peace Especilally on my job💪💪🙏🙏🦋
Thanks Cystal, I sometimes ask Alexa to play some Soothing music for me. I enjoy painting and crafts using empty food cans, jars, Wine bottles, Detergent bottles. I do a little exercice. I try to not over do it. Im going to try the candles. I enjoy baking. I was out of butter, and I tried the peanut butter to replace it. I have never done that before, and made a nice loaf cake. It is delicious. 😊🙏💜💜💜👏👏👏👏

Although I’m on my treadmill daily, I read, cook, and take college courses, following along with one of my favorite cooking channels to create a new recipe has resonated with me. Reading more than just my Bible, or when I have assignments to do, will be a great change for me as well. Now that I’m entering the Master’s program for Fall 2021, that’ll prepare me for better academic papers than I had as an undergrad. Recently I was thinking 🤔 about boosting my treadmill time from 30 minutes to an hour. I can certainly add to self care

I got so much out of this Chrystal! I just got back from a 3 mile bike ride and I do that every single morning at 6 AM and I never regret it because it really does help your mindset like you said.

One thing for me as a single woman.is soaking in a epson salt bath and listen to something motivational. I.do take walks to our local Quik Trip to get a ice cream and sit and Honestly People watch😳😁

Evening Crystal I love your braids, you look cute. I always enjoy your segments and really enjoyed this one on self-care. What resonated with me more so was getting a massage. Thanx Chrysal this was awesome. I constantly here about self care and agree but don't. I'm one of those who feel like if I'm not moving or working I'm wasting time. I'm trying to do better. While I was watching I was out walking. This helps with my anxiety, something I realized I had when the pandemic hit.
