Ahnald, you're not used to having the Vulture on Reinforcements instead of the starting lineup. Your Vulture that is "bugged" is actually a summon, so it only assists 70% of the time. Usually the player Vulture is out at the start, which is why I think you're getting confused.
You must have the updated firmware for your Tactical Scanners!

I noticed that your Geo Spy doesn’t have his ship unique maxed out. Maxing it out will grant your geos up to 30% extra offense which will help make the counter smoother. Sun Fac can grant up to 30% crit avoidance for the geos which can help with survivability. Geo soldier can grant up to 30% accuracy to help deal with the dodges
@@miccool9ice363 imagine Sun Fac is dead. Spy gets attacked and goes under stealth. If you have the maxed out spy unique, Soldier with go under stealth too and then you can’t get the big hit from spy if the enemy goes for spy. But I do see your point about the offensez

CGs ext update: we have identified an unintended interaction between the malevolence and profundity. We will watch closely over the next day before nerfing the hell out of the malevolence so that it seems like we were actually concerned

If there are any Geonosian ships at the start of the battle, all enemy ships receive Ability Block for 10 turns, which can't be dispelled or prevented. 😂

Profundity kit update -> Separatist ships are unable to attack out of turn. Separatist Capital Ships can not reduce their ultimate cooldown.

Exactly. The problem with the old bug was they were only assisting like 20 or 30% of the time not the 70
Was that 70% chance to assist a nerf? Cause I think back in the day it was a 100% chance.
I went in with my malevolence and on the vulture droids summoned by the capital ship on the info above the abilities it says only a 70% chance to assist on the reinforcement vulture it is 100%
@@juansebastian9259 Malevolence summon vulture droid with LVL1 ability of Swarming Terror. That is reason why they have only 70% chance to assist. I believe in past they used to have 100% chance which was bug. And CG didnt care as long as Nego/Mal were meta, now when they are no longer meta, they fixed it. Same as they fixed JKA ship with the Unending Loyalty bug.

@@osets2117 I dont know, if you put them on defense and opponent keep them for offense (After we found idea setup for their mirrors) he will easy clear you with high banners. While you have to clear his Nego/Male with yours Nego/Male which will not be high banners.

Thats a given, since Malevolence is the only ship that can abuse AI stupidity with summons. If they reprogrammed ship AI, to ignore summons, it would be less effective. :)

Not all my farms are necessarily meant to chase after some legendary. In this situation. Emperor Shuttle is amazing for my Empire fleet! Almost critical for a good alternative fleet in my roster.

@@AhnaldT101 also GA, I think a great video idea would be a counters one. It can have different brackets of GP so it can have counters for all players but the video can focus on a team and the best teams to take that one down, could be in a style like your zeta/team ranking videos. It could help a lot of players maximize their teams to get more wins.

Executor user here from the future, having a hard time recently with Profundity/Dash onslaught, to the point where i put out this team (reluctantly, a sub-500k fleet) and tore through them like shit through a goose. Good times, thanks Ahnald, thanks GG, Geos ^^
This is kinda reminiscent of when GAS first came out. An offensive powerhouse but not impossible to beat on D. Mirror matches aren’t a headache either which is nice
It should be noted that this is Malevolence with Relic 8 GG and Relic 8 Geo pilots. While a great counter to have exist, I'm pretty sure that's very much a late-game counter (and not exactly a certain one), which means CG are less likely to nerf the hell out of it.

Hey Ahnald, good tip for if an omicron will effect the ship, level 8 abilities will whereas level 9 abilities don't.

Man I called it way back when Negotiator and Malevolence were at the top. People said Negotiator was better and I always disagreed. Good to see more accessible counters are available

The vulture's assist is about 70% chance IIRR, for the free vultures. The problem with that being, CG can stealth nerf that at will, unless people seriously collect statistics. And perception bias or not, I'm pretty sure they DID nerf that a while back.

lol Well this strategy won't work for me. My toons absolutely refuse to do things like that. You should see my executor mirror matches. My Cad Bane double shots 5% of the time. Evil Cad Bane double shots 90% of the time. If evil razor crest doesn't land mark, my razor crest will not land mark. lol
Enemy dodges 60% of the time. My team doesn't realize dodge exits. lol
I need an Omicron that increases my sheep speed. Those lazy lambs never go to their pen!
What are the required relics for this? What relics are you using? I assume your using relic 8 gg, and relic 7 geos...

Does this work with gear 12/low relic geos? I know you've got a pretty juiced up geo team and it looks like spy is just barely avoiding death each time.
Yes, the Vulture assists are still bugged; have been for a long time now.
If anything, CG will probably change the wording on the Vulture Droids to make the bug seem like it was on purpose

If tie bomber is needed, then that leaves the chimaera a lot weaker.
Not to mention that the malevolence is the best non ship "GL" for taking on the executor
Chimaera is still great on offense without TIE Bomber. Also, Finalizer is far better than Malevolence vs Executor. I don’t see anyone using Malevolence over Finalizer anymore unless you just don’t have Finalizer.

What are the “minimum” relics for this to work? As a proud Malevolence owner, I really don’t want to have to highly relic my Geo pilots
The video had Relic 3 Geo Soldier, and R8 Spy/Sun Fac. Unfortunately, I cannot roll back relics and gear to find a minimum. On the upside, aside from making their ships better Geos are still a decent team for Grand Arena and TW so not a complete waste if you decide to upgrade them more.
@@AhnaldT101 Thing is, I’m almost able to start the GAS event, and I don’t want to have something else to do while I relic my clones in preparation. I guess I could make it my post-GAS passion project. Is R8 completely necessary, or can it be done with R7, if you’d have to guess.

I don’t know what the minimum is as I can’t rollback relics and gear but they were Relic 3 Geo Soldier and Relic 8 Spy/Sun Fac here. Definitely don’t need them as high as me but the more the merrier.

Not sure if you read all your comments, but imo it would be a mistake to put both Exec and Profundity on Def. Your opponent only needs to keep one or the other plus FO and it's nearly a guaranteed full clear for good banners. In fact, I think the best GAC Def for fleets will be one of the two (pdity/exec) probably pdity, Nego, and Thrawn/Empire (I prefer Thrawn). I say that because if they put both on defense, you can use the other and clear profundity and FO to clear exec and something else to clear the last fleet. I think the important thing actually is to get another rebel fleet up now that pdity took MF out. Not sure if RC can really do that, but if you can use Rebels with RC to kill Nego, Seps, FO, or Raddus we'd be back to where we are were before pdity came out.
Example you mentioned in your stream you would use most likely use PDity, Exec, Nego on def. Which I think many people will as well. Knowing that, the counter to take on Offense would be Exec, FO, and Seps + 1 clean up. Use Exec on Pdity, FO on Exec, and Seps on Nego (unless we can find a rebel fleet...which I doubt). Those three will and should be a higher banner count than your seps counter to Pdity here, FO counter to Exec, and honestly the bigger problem you have. What are you taking against Thrawn? A mirror? You don't have Tie Bomber, no real rebel fleet, Nego is on D. So yeah, kind of up a creek. You could take both GL ships and Nego on Offense and put banner strippers on D too if you were going the efficiency route.
Generally speaking, i'm glad we have another cap ship, but we seriously need more ships other than a cap ship. Again, just my opinion.
As of now either opinion is speculation on what people will do but we will find out next Grand Arena! I definitely expect people by me to place both and see what happens for the first few Grand Arenas.
@@AhnaldT101 Let them, but place pdity on D, not exec. Sounds strange I know, but placing both on D will lead to greater instances of not being able to full clear, and if you do, it will be for less banners (even if you one shot them) than you will get for keeping exec and using Nego and Emp on Def. I fully expect people in upper K2 and lower K1 (where I am) if they have it to place them both against me as I don't have it yet. R9 man...its killing me!
