My Dad had an R8 in the sixties, it was a great car and took us from the UK to the alps skiing every year we had it. Dad always said you had to drive it like you were on a motorcycle and it would perform well.

Had a 63 R8 with 1100 motor, first car, loved that little red thing. It taught me how to drive but had incredible brakes and terminal oversteer, boy it was fun

I had R8 1100ccm too! Great car and best memories! Comfortable ride and quite fast for its age of 42 years when i got it. It´s the only car i make dreams about quite often. I miss it.

permis passé le 1 er Juillet 1968 j'avais 21 ans avec une R 8 à Paris acheté fin Juillet RENAULT 8 MAJOR bleue neuve !sièges tissus bleu ma première voiture. J'en suis encore amoureux c'était la première ,une quinzaine d'autres ont suivi aujourd'hui j'ai 75 ans et une C4 la nouvelle!

Very strange pedals disposition : you think you hit the brake and it's the clutch. But funny car to drive with lot of oversteer

Je n' avais jamais remarquer, la sculpture de l avant de la voiture le capot en forme casquette sur les phares creuser et la calandre bomber, en revanche l interieur à l arrière trop etroit! renault 2020 devrait s inspirer de l avant pour sortir une voiture originale
