What an incredible finding!! I’m awe struck that having gone through that traumatic experience, mostly in silence, that Mike’s parents stayed united and went on to have 2 more kids, and shared their lives together!! How incredible and what a blessing to have all this come to surface!!🥰🎉🙏

Wow, this is such an amazing story, I will tell you now, you will love Kathy, Emma & her whole family, we do! Our mum was so fond of the kids, our home was a 2nd home to the boys bless them. Really hope you get the chance to come to the UK to see them xx

This happened in my family. We found out about 5 years ago that my brother had a son that he never knew about. This happened in the 60s. Ancestry was our link, also. My brother passed away in 2013, so he never got to have the absolute joy of knowing he had this son. We have been blessed with the added family. Soak it all in, and I'm so glad you get to know and love another sister.

I can relate, I am adopted and I’ve always known I was adopted and when I was 30 years old my birth mother found me by using a private detective. It’s been a great experience extending the family. I wish you all the best on this new adventure 💜

It really is and bizarre!
This exact same thing happened to my mom’s twin sister. My aunt had a baby boy in the 50’s and gave him up for adoption and his daughter found out and looked her family up. At first we thought it also was a scam, but it was all true. It was through Ancestry DNA. My aunt went to her grave not telling anyone, my mom could not believe it. She went out of state to have the baby so no one would find out.

My dad and his brother & 3 sisters found out 2 yrs ago that they had a younger sister named Kathy.

My nephew found out through one of the tests that he has a half sister. Funny part was he said, who do you think had the affair.? They are a month apart and I said well your mom couldn't have had her since she was pregnant with you and due the following month. All my sister said was " that's the past and done with." Very sad that she could care less. Hopefully my nephew and niece will be able to connect with her. Bless you all on your new extended family.
