    You are the only guy I've seen online who actually uses the oil filter drain plug, great stuff all of the others take the filter off full of oil and make a hell of a mess. Great Stuff, one of the cleanest oil changes that I've seen

    Great video and ditto on using the oil filter housing drain plug correctly. Everyone else misses that correct procedure. Only thing I would do differently is to apply a little oil to the o-rings as they go back on to prevent any abrasions. Great DIY 5W40!

      Thank you for this video. Just a question: is dangerous for the engine to do this procedure without a torque wrench? Do you use to do on this way?

    • @5w402
      @5w402  Před 7 lety +2

      It is best to use torque wrench at first place, I did this way more than 015+ year without issue, just a bit lazy but confident of my hands.

    • @5w402
      @5w402  Před 7 lety

      Good question, I am bit lazy I have done many times on many cars on this way,most I can feel where I should stop but not recommend, but IT IS DANGEROUS over torque!
      Some time I use a painted marker between housing and oil pan as a guide. :-)
