Providing actual tools is a major help for beginners. Those allen keys did the job, but in the long run, they weren't that user-friendly and uncomfortable to use. Glad to see they included those since I'm pre-ordering the green one 👌

@@V8chump Arrma calls them 1/18. And they're brushed. I'd love to see a 1/12 Kraton brushless 2-3S.
And Traxxas has the 1/16 4wd Slash too. And the 1/16 Summit and E-Revo. But price is high of course.
@@JFlyer1973 Only the merv can be had brushless. I have a VXL merv, good truck after a bunch of upgrades. How about a 1/12 Sledge 3S or a 1/14 Maxx? Take my money lol

Being a beginner in RC vehicles , I purchased the Arrma fury after my brother purchased it I had no idea about anything RC , this fury is pretty awesome for its price !

9:40 yes, it's the nimh battery issue. lipo will fix that. Also, some brushed 550 cans can run 3S, and ARRMA 14T is NOT one of them. QUICRUN 555 13T on the other hand is 3S capable. Just saying.
I do believe the new Arrma fury is the first and only rtr mid motor sct out there.

It may be the only current, but definitely not the first. Team Associated had the SC5M and TLR had the 22SCT 3.0. EDIT: While i was typing i noticed you said RTR. Carry on.

honestly the gorgon is one of the best performing trucks in the segment, especially when brushless. i see this being the same when it comes to the 2wd sct's.
I have a feeling the battery cover is bright red so it's easier to find when it falls off.......... 🤓

Awesome video Mark, I saw Exocaged RC's video about this truck and i want this truck sometime next year i will also get a Gorgon kit for my granddad at the same time i get my truck.
I want to like this one, but, while it handles great in deep sand, it oversteers badly on low-traction surfaces. Mid-motor chassis are meant for racing on high-traction prepped tracks.
That neighborhood has me wondering what Mrs. Mark does for a living. Stay in school, ladies!

Mark is this the replacement for the 4x2 Senton??? Looks like this Looks is Place and then have the same setup on the new 4x2 Vortex's but then kept that name for the Stadium Truck.
I hope this is a sneak peak at what Arrma has in store for their 3s lineup...i love the look of the new Fury body. I wonder if they may replace the Senton name with it too?

Mark . I’ve been watching your channel for about a year and I finally have a question. You show new cars about 43-4 times a week what do you do with all the cars you display/run ? I was wondering if you give them away or sell them . Do the car manufacturers send you the cars for free?

They also have a lime green one that won’t have a battery and charger.
For the extra cash, I'd have to go with a slash. Especially when they do the battery/charger bundle deal.
I like what Arrma is doing here. So tell me O Traxxas Guru… (yup that’s YOU Mark! 😎) … can you give a comparison between the Fury and the Bandit in terms of handling? Arrma keeps this up and the entry level cost effective nod goes to them over Traxxas. Their entry level 2wd 1/10’s cost quite a bit more.

Mark you are aware that the “Fury” is NOT a new truck right? This came out years ago and was discontinued and for years you couldn’t get one and now they brought it back.🤷🏻♂️
I really don’t like it when they come with the esc/receiver combo because it is so slow you will want to upgrade it but now you have to buy a new radio, esc and motor to make it better. I would prefer them to be separate and pay a little more
How much does it cost??

In the Netherlands this car has the exact same price as the Losi 22S. And that is more car, comes whit giro..... So i would always pick the Losi over this almost toy grade car

Lowered Gorgon. Looks similar to the Voltage, but shares absolutely nothing with it. These can handle 4S brushless easily. The Voltage can barely handle the brushed 2S it comes with lol

Voltage uses junky dogbone driveshafts, these use CVD sliders
Voltage uses a horrible side-loading battery design, these use an under compartment.
Voltage uses terrible plastic gears, these use wider, stronger gears (not even compatible with the Voltage 😂)
I've worked on 2 Gorgons and over 10 Voltages. The Voltage is one of the worst RCs on the current market (it was bad even for the time) and it doesn't help that they can barely even handle stock 2S power. With no aftermarket support. The Gorgon already has a growing aftermarket following and can handle 4S power like it's nothing.
They look similar and are similar in overall design, yes. But not a single Gorgon part works with a Gorgon aside from literally the screws (and electronics obviously). Every part is unique and redesigned. The Voltage should have been dumpstered years ago.
Go do some research on parts and part numbers before you make yourself sound like an idiot.
