    The Ionic order was not made by the Greek. It is more common in Minor Asia, than Greece. Sure. The Greeks had colonies in Ionia. But that land shifted, and during the this time, I would argue this order is more from Minor Asia than Greece. They adopted it, yes. But I don't think it originated from them.

    I wonder what the annual fees were, and what one got in perquisites from that?
    Did it have any social cachet? Did you get to meet movers and shakers in the higher echelons
    of society?

    Why was the Temple of Hercules mistaken for the Temple of Vesta, does anyone know?
