The best thing to use for fake tanning your hands, elbows, knees, etc. Is microfiber. And it helps if you mix the fake tanning lotion in with body lotion in the places you want it to be lighter.

I add my fake tan into regular lotion and I do my hands and feet also my knees and elbows that way😊🤗 it definitely works better. I could never get my hands right either .....trust me! your so pretty love your eyes.

For your tan hands.. It just sticks different to your hands. Only use the left over on your tan mit and apply to your hands. Don’t apply extra product specifically to your hands. Get baby wipes and wipe your palms, knuckles, and in between your fingers. I even wipe my hands once with the wipes and it still tans my hands, but it looks good. Hope this helps

Hey babe! I work at a tanning salon in the US and I think I know how to keep your hands from going a complete other shade than your body! Look on amazon for a blending/barrier cream for tanning and put that on as you apply. It doesn’t keep the tan off completely but it delays the Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) that tans you instantly and for the next 6-8 hours. That way your hands will develop differently and they will match that glow you have going on the rest of your body, hope that was helpful! (Also, any lotions with silicone will block DHA and work similarly to a blending/barrier cream.) 💕

I use the regular Glamglow illuminating moisturizer & I looooove it! I have combination skin and I pair it with the Hourglass mineral veil primer & it's such a great balance. Doesn't make me look oily just dewy.

Ok what I do babe is I use rubber gloves (like doctor gloves) they're reusable as well. I apply to my body then I remove one globe and do the back of my hand. Then I remove the other glove and rub the lotion into it with the back of my other hand! Hope this helps! Or use the gloves to apply then when it comes to your hands just use a stippling brush. I've did this too and it works great! Also before you apply it onto your hands put lotion into them. This will help them to not turn out too dark😘💕

A stippling brush definitely works great for applying self tanner to hands and feet. I coat with lotion and do the rest of my body with the mitt and then when the lotion has sunk in, I use a fluffy brush and it looks great.

I had the same problem with tanners, I figured out to put really thick lotion on my hands, elbows, knees, wrists, ankles and feet right before putting the tanner on and then yes, use a stippling brush for it with a very light amount of tanner.

Coat your hands in the Vaseline Aloe Soothe moitsurizer (it's in a green bottle) before u tan them, then use a brush, and your hands will turn out perfect. I use this trick every time I tan, and my hands & feet always turn out perfect :) You can put this moitsurizer on your elbows & knees too, and it literally works wonders. I can't tan without it

Emma. I adore you, by the way. But I wanted to tell you that you can use latex gloves when you apply your self tanner to keep it off the palms of your hands. And to get your hands the appropriate color, just rub the remainder of what's left from tanning your legs onto your hands. Also, you might want to apply small amounts and build. I hope this helps.

Love your videos, subbed and I'm really learning so many ways to do makeup correctly to get a beautiful flawless, and dramatic look. You are gorgeous and please keep the videos coming. Also, if you really don't want to do haul videos it's a bummer but ok. Do you do 'theme' type makeup? You would totally rock like, a comic or old pop art look. Didn't know if you do that kind of makeup for halloweeen and stuff. Would love to see you do it. I normally wash my hands off right after I apply fake tan and then put lotion on to blend it in. Might help.

LOVE that you called a hair elastic a “bobble” or “bauble”. That is what we call them back home in Eastern Canada too!! I’ve never heard anyone use that term for it outside my home province before! :) We have mostly Irish heritage (with English and some Scottish) and because we’re an island and are so isolated from the mainland, we have kept a lot of the original words for things. So much so that we have our own dictionary..lol. That’s so the mainlanders can understand us. We could basically talk about them in front of them if we wanted and they’d be completely in the dark...haha. Loved this video :)

Moisturise your hands well before doing tan. Some cream tans can be mixed with moisturiser or lotion to lighten them
