- Here's another campground tour! For a state park, this campground offers many different types of campsites to suit your needs. One of the few state parks we've come across to offer full hook-up sites, this campground had the perfect amount of amenities for us without losing it's peacefulness.
Here's a short list of our pros and cons from this campground:
Pros:
* Spacious and private sites
* Locked gate with code
* Quiet and peaceful
* Close to beaches, fishing, and trails
* Affordable price with full hook-up sites
Cons:
* Park is crowded on the weekends
* Strict check-in times
* Some greenhead horse flies in the area
* Nature Center and Civil War Museum were closed during our stay

Ive fished, crabbed and camp here for many years with my parents and with friends for several decades. It is one of my favorite Maryland parks and i have many favorite Maryland Parks since I was born and raised here in the DC,MD, VA area. its a Great choice for anyone. Great video.
My wife and I camped at the camp grounds there in 2017. We lasted one night and got the hell out of there. The stories are spot on true, that place is very haunted. Yea we had some over night paranormal experiences that scared us. It's beautiful there and I'll go back in daylight only.
My buddy and I are heading there next week and there isn't much that actually shows the full campground, excellent job with your video and we really appreciated the time you spent putting this together. Have a great day!
