Shining games were never devellopped by first party studio.(Camelot and Climax were not part of Sega) And Nexton and Mediavision are not little studio (Nexton is Crusader of centry saff and Mediavision, Wild arms and Valkyria chronicles) . And no, Shining blade was a PSP project since the beginning (as Sega public was on pSP in japan)
what platform is that? pls show us the setting. Run this game on my iPad mini 2 the screen keep flashing if I use flame skip. If I don't use flame skip, fps drop is terrible in while playing the 3D parts.
Next time you decide to upload a video, make the content more interesting, nobody wants to see half of the video dedicated to checking out items in the shop and where is the music?
the graphic are pretty bad for a psp game tbh, if you really want to see graphics on the psp go look at God Of War Ghost Of Sparta, Final Fantasy Dissedia Duodecium, Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker, God Of War Chains of Olympus, Final Fantasy Crysis Core, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, etc, now those are real psp graphics, but Ghost of Sparta pushes it to its actual breaking point.
The problem is that the game is Valkyria Chronicles 2 reskinned. And what a surprise. A game that already felt like a downgrade feels even more lackluster when it tries to conform to a setting where the units are not as tactical.

The problem is not the units, it's the overall balance of the game (the balance is made for people who just made story mission and don't use reserve), I have created some action replay code to rebalance the game and making it harder and the game is very tactic and don't play exactly as VC. I plan to share the action replay codes as a pack once I have beta test the whole game. And Valkyria 2 is not a downgraded experience of the first. The game have much better personnalisation, much more class, is far longer, the lancer are not useless anymore, individual unit storyline, multiplayer, more effect. The little area make the gameplay very different. The balance was not great and the story inferior (still better than VC4) but it's was not just 1,5 like VC4 (who felt just like an addon of the first game)

This really doesn't feel like a "Shining" game to me. Could of shoved any old label on it. It's more akin to other JRPG's that litter the market.
It's how far the Shining series has fallen from its original SRPG glory.
