  • In today's video, we wanted to do another tour of a state park in Florida. We decided to try Wekiwa Springs State Park in Apopka, Florida. We have never been but have heard that it often reaches capacity. We found out this is very true. We tried a few times to get in but we were turned away, due to capacity. We found out that if you go in the evening, it is easier to get in. As far as this state park, there really wasn’t much to do other than the spring. There were a couple walking trails but the big attraction is the spring as there were a ton of people in it. There isn’t much parking at Wekiwa Springs State Park so we would suggest either getting there right when it opens or later in the evening. It apparently is very popular but as for our experience, we aren’t big spring swimmers so it wasn’t our favorite park. However, if you are looking for a cool place during the hot days, check out Wekiwa Springs State Park in Apopka, Florida.
Stay tuned for another video coming soon. Thanks so much for watching! God Bless!!!

You don't know til you go. The water looks very clean and clear, Wow! Sounds like a great place for families with kids. I'm glad they have not added parking, the nature stays natural and limits the amount of people who will not pay attention or abide by the park rules such as the guy standing in the water on the other side of the bridge. LOL

Yeah it definitely has potential for families wanting to hang out all day. The water was nice. Good point with the parking! Glad they are keeping the nature like it is!

Yesss, tend to agree with you (meh!). Looks like someone got scared out of their undercrackers on the boardwalk by a bear. 😂😂
