    I came for the CNC stuff but like the guitar builds as well. I like the mix. 👍️

    it is great to see videos about guitar making (step by step), as well as about equipment and how you use it. Also about the designing in the computer and really anything you do. I'm here cause I'm drooling for a space like yours so that I can start making guitars one day. (I'm 45, still no place to have a workshop)

    I have been watching your cnc videos. I actually built the rat rig using the same motors, spindle, etc.
    It was great having you on the side with the videos.
    It is a bit funny that you have turned more into woodworking, as that is where my hobby started. ❤❤ Keep up the great work.

    Great video, really enjoy seeing your machines (cnc, laser, 3d printer) is what I'm here for. The guitar content is a bonus :) Cheers from Australia

    it has been a real joy watching you progress. Glad that you are gaining clarity of purpose over the years. I think it is really important for us creative types to really focus on what brings us joy.
    Congratulations! (from a fellow electronic nerd and guitar player)

    i would never have guessed that you're like 2m tall!
    as for your question, i have to say that personally i am more into the machine building and modding, pc mods, arts and crafts and electronics projects, but the creativity and stills you learn and apply in everything you do are always going to be interesting to watch. seeing you get the most out of tools and techniques and using them creatively to make really unique and impressive results is really inspiring and educational.
    i LOVE the charred guitar and although its not my style lots of your steampunk designs and the materials you work with are undeniably awesome!
    congratulations on your very nice new workshop and diving into this new passion. please do keep making videos, whatever you create there will undoubtedly be great and there'll be lots to learn from.
    all the best, also david 🙂

    I've found you by the V-Core and CNC back in the days .. meanwhile I have my own 3D-printers, CNC and laser-cutter set up and running .. you have a good mix for me .. I don't play the guitar, but it's always fascinating to see you creating :-)

    The guitars look really good! I've done custom gun stocks with my cnc router and would love to do guitars too. Would be interested in a video about tool path strategies you use for final surfacing, how you tab off, indexing of multiple operations, tool choice, all that fussy stuff!

    More guitar builds with voice overs would be nice. You make really cool and unique looking guitars! btw your PC build is also awesome!

    By the way, if you do 3D printing in the same room you're working in, it might be a good idea to put an enclosure around the 3D printer that keeps air inside and only lets it out through HEPA filters. I have becomes aware of 3D printers leaving a lot of fine particles in the air over the last few weeks and it's apparently a big health hazard. DYOR

      I almost exclusively print with PLA which is not an issue. If I were to print ABS a lot then that would be more important.

    just from what i think: making one guitar and another and another and another and... .
    will get you bored after some time aswell :D

      Well, if I do I'll stop and do sth else (this is a hobby after all and not my dayjob). For now there seem to be endless possibilities still to explore.

    Where did you get your design from? Is there a source you buy them or did you completely design them by your own. Maybe you can show that?

    • @DarkArtGuitars
      @DarkArtGuitars  Před 7 měsíci

      You mean the design of the guitar? I designed that myself (with some inspiration from other guitars of course). There is a video where I show some of the steps of doing the model in Fuison360. I wouldn't really know what to say about design itself, I just make it how it looks good to me.

      How large is your shop? And does that space have everything you need for building guitars?

    • @DarkArtGuitars
      @DarkArtGuitars  Před 6 měsíci

      It's about the size of a one car garage. The only thing that is missing for the optimal solo luthier workshop would be a dedicated spray booth. I wouldn't need much more space, but in the current layout it just didn't fit.@@rickhickman2730
