Gwen Stacey is now one of my fav characters; her best appereances for me are in: Into the Spiderverse, the Amazing Spiderman1 and 2, the spectacular spiderman, the Ultimate Spiderman and Marvel Rising
Before Spider-Verse, she was known as Peter Parker's first love that he couldn't save. Now she's also known as the one who can kick ass as well. That is a very welcome change.
Truthfully when I first saw Gwen in Spider-Man 3 I was not interested in her because Mary Jane was still number one. But later after I saw spectacular Spider-Man I realized she has a sense of defense while she was always been Spiderman girl friend before death and revived. She even became a fan favorite all the sudden.
Kinda amazing how she went from a character writers killed off because they were bored of her to someone this awesome and iconic.
I still don’t understand why Sony hasn’t made a live action Spider-Gwen movie yet
Hopefully she will, if she appears in the MCU. Otherwise Zendaya has to be ghost spider.

I actually already have an idea for a Ghost-Spider movie along with massive cameo’s. To me, I think the story that I came up with so far is good. And I just ding to see her in the MCU before Miles Morales…

When does it get good? The first couple episodes were hot garbage.
@Cowterpie idk I preferred it over the one prier to it (spectacular) especially art style wise. I assume it’s cause some of the plot is based on the clone era which alone is highly hated in the fandom so that’s my only guess as to why it’s hated. I enjoyed it personally and I grew up with the animated series (1994) and Spider-Man unlimited and liked it just as much as them.
@Cowterpie makes sense, I personally found their art style for it more appealing than most, I think the only one that had a better art style was Unlimited. But sadly they all ended in cliff hangers. Wish they would of at least done a spider verse type movie for all these shows (not just cameos like they were in Across the spider verse, like a movie actually about all the TV shows he’s had) since animated series had MJ sucked into an alternate universe so it would of worked well as an intro and possible plot for why he’d go to the other show’s universes, as well as it would of gave closure to about 5 or so shows at once. Since every one with story continuity always ends in a cliff hanger do to show rights being passed around so much or because “it clashes with the movie coming out.” (Also yes that was why one of the shows never had a proper ending.)

It’s a good name change IMO. The white costume does make her look rather ghostly. It’s definitely better than Spider-Gwen, which is hardly a way to maintain her secret identity.

Earth 67’s spiderman is a woman and it’s Gwen Stacy. Don’t like it read a different universe comic, there’s plenty.
