I think adding the verb ghost oil was a great idea! I feel like it actually helped add some definition! Like I could see defined, individual, curl clumps much better after just that one pump of oil! Plus the added volume on top, of course☺️
I agree too! It's funny that several years ago I would never have thought to use an oil at any point in my routine, let alone the last step for sealing.

I have tried their sea moss curl cream & didn't care for it either🫤 I have the blueberry Bliss foam but never used it because it doesn't look right/come out right & smells really funky & I feel like I got a bad product or something.
I religiously take their liquid hair vitamin, it worked WONDERS for my hair shedding that had become a big problem, & I also like their pineapple curl mask & pineapple "curl wash", which is actually a cowash & I almost never use cowashes, but IF I'm going to use one, that's the one I use. I usually only cowash if something went really awry before washday, like I got really dirty/sweaty, or I used products that made my hair feel really awful on washday, etc. I also will use it if my scalp is really dry & I recently clarified. Literally about 3 or 4 times a year probably lol. But it's a nice one that will actually lather a tiny bit, especially if you go in a second time. That pineapple mask is great cuz it doesn't weigh my hair down. But otherwise every other product I've tried from them has been a total flop unfortunately.
I am happy to report that I have learned to like my Blueberry Bliss foam under certain conditions. I mentioned in my Biggest Surprises video at the end of 2022, and I will be using it in my next Chat With Me (not released yet). Unfortunately, if you have a bad foam then there is probably nothing you can do to make it work as it should. As for the Poppin Pineapple Collection, I have had a little interest, but never enough to purchase. I personally have found that I like to use cowashes as a prepoo. It helps with detangling, and I feel it also helps when I follow up with a shampoo, for it to lather better.
We have very similar curl types! I have curly (not loose curls but not really tight either) hair, fine textured, & mine is naturally medium to high porosity but healthy. Idk your porosity, but I'm guessing it's similar. It's even roughly the same length, mine might be like an inch or so longer. You're like my curl twin lol
😄 Lol, I don't officially know my porosity, but I would guess that it is naturally medium to high as well. As for my length, I do plan to continue to grow it out some more. My length definitely fluctuates over the years.
I am wavy with fine hair that is very dry. I like the Blueberry Bliss leave in but the blueberry gel did not work at all for me. I might give this new gel a try!
It might work well for you. I know the directions say not to pair this gel with anything to avoid flakes, but I'm still not convinced a leave-in or cream under it couldn't work. But I have not tested this theory out yet.
I've not used any products from this brand, but it looks like your curls held up really well for Day 2.

Sorry for all the comments, I have a bad habit of commenting as I go lol... I just wanted to mention that I've seen a lot of people (on the curls website, in the review section, & on Instagram) say that the cream does NOT mix well with the curl slime, which I realize makes no sense especially being in the same line, but now that you read that bold letter warning, I'm thinking they've realized they don't play nicely together & added that warning cuz it didn't used to be there lol. Of course this doesn't mean it won't work for you, but just thought you should know
Yeah I saw that too, however the two products seemed to mix well enough on the back of my hand. Lol, it's just the experimenter in me. And don't worry about how much you comment. I enjoy the connection.
Do any of my curl friends out there use any Curls products (from any line)? If you do I'd love to know what the texture of your hair is and what products you prefer.
My scalp/hair never seems to get oily or greasy anymore. What's up with that? My scalp will itch at about day 4. Lol Same as you ❤️
Lucky you! My hair can get a little greasy in the summer sometimes, and if I straighten my hair, other than that I'm pretty lucky.
