Thank you for a very informative review of this excellent car. A great all-rounder, as you quite rightly say gives you the best of all world's.
I do like the interior in the beige leather, it gives the cabin an airey and sophisticated limousine feel.

iV stands for Intelligent Vehicle, that means: car can recognize signs, adjust speed accordingly and monitor 360 surroundings next to ACC - so its clever system and it does very well!; Furthermore, I am now getting the second one (2024 model) with 16Kwh battery, this means that first 65-70Km I can drive on electricity only (in mixed hybrid mode it uses on average of 1.3-1.5liters of fuel on 100Km) and if battery is out, it's average is 4.5-5liters /100Km.

Good review! Whats the consumption when the battery is empty or on a longer range? For example 200km... Thanks!

Sorry, did not drive the car this far and since i try the car in various different situations, the consumption is rarely as mentioned by manufactur - but it seemed to me that the claimd consumption would be possile in this plug in hybrid

on my golf gte phev it does 45+ highway and 55 city when “flat”. it always keeps some in reserve so it acts like a regular toyota hybrid

My Superb IV (Kombi, estate or wagon) has a consumption about 5.5l/100km on long trips with an empty battery. With 2 full charges i came 1007km on a full petrol tank and i filled it up when the tank reserve(red light) switched on. This was in Sweden this week an the temperature was about 5-10 Celsius.

I drive it - yes it does, only to the minimum recharge (up to 10% not more) that is enough for star/stop system, but not for fully electric driving (so it does like Toyota normal Hybrid and always keeps some E energy). You can change mode (on 2023-2024 models) that will fully charge from engine in around 30-40 minutes battery will be full, but then fuel consumption will go up to 6-7 liters.

Waste of time just buy, normal ice cheaper petrol or diesel.

I think this Superb iV is too fast for a slow and cold Estonian tallinnista:) And next time keep both hands on a wheel in order to follow an excellent driving ethics.
