So basically what it is doing is sucking some more amount of fuel(than earlier) when the accelerator is near to zero position and fuel has gone in reserve. Ideally when accelerator is near to zero, then it should suck mainly by pilot tube(because main passageway is mostly blocked) and very less amount through main tube. Here you are increasing the amount by main tube in that specific condition. Great understanding Abhishek :-)

Very good suggestion. No one mechanic can't try this. Simply they adjust idling. I personally experience. Solve my vehicle by explaining to mechanic. After seeing this vedio. Thank you guru.

i requested for this a long time ago...finally u made it... i knew my bike has this problem but i couldn't take out the needle from the piston..there is an orange cover on top...couldn't open from any screw driver....the needle doesn't have settings option also...i will fix some washer/plastic....but can't open it...i have suzuki hayate...maybe its same as old access

Main mera ntorq leke ek ride par jane ke soch raha hoon, genarally main motul 5100 10w30 semi synthetic oil use karta hoon. Kya iss oil se ye ride karna thik hoga ? Ya fir mujhe full synthetic oil use karna padega ?

Hero hf dawn 2014. Some times bike starts with choke. Starting acceleration is not smooth. 40 to 50 feet it struggles to go smooth ride. After seeing your video I have tuned my self air mixture screw& idle screw perfectly. Is there any problem? Bike run 32,300 kms. Opinion please.
A thinner needle will do the trick.also
a paper air filter will stop misfiring.you change the slide to one with a smaller cut out,or grind the bottom about .75 mm.a bigger pilot jet maybe required. The solution lies in restricting excessive air.

I still have same issue of jurc in my CBZ XTREME its 12 year old and I feel jurc above the speed of 50 kmph after lock down I will try this solution...

Sir ab jo Splendor plus ki new model market mein aarahi hai(2016)ke baad , usme slide pin ko up and down Karne ki subidha hata di gai hai. Slide pin ko fixed Kar di gaayi hai. Un gaadiyon mein kya karein missing problem aane par?

I had bad misfiring issue. Issue was only cleaning of carburetor. Especially pilot jet. I changed pilot jet and problem got solved

Thnk u so much. Very informative vdo. In my pulsar 150 ug3, even if i fully close the fuel screw in carburettor, engine does not stop and continues to run normally and carbon emission %age shows more than normal value. Can you please provide what can be the possible reason?
Valve may need to adjust or head overhaul
Did you solved it? How?
There should be some kind of problem with A/F screw when you totally close the A/F screw it doesn't work properly that's why air passes through it.Please take out the screw and carefully watch the O ring(rubber) along with a metal washer at the end and also another O ring (rubber) at front side which may be defective and caused for that problem, replace the A/F screw with new one.

Main ek 2000km ka ride karne ke bare me soch raha hoon mere ntorq pe. Generally main motul 5100 10w30 (semi synthetic) engine oil use karta hoon. Kya iss ride k liye mujhe koi full synthetic oil use karna hoga ? Mera scooty proper maintained hai aur every 100km par main rest v doonga. Kya fir v mujhe koi full synthetic oil hi use karna chahiye ?
(20w40) (semi synthetic) oil hota to koi pareshani nahin hoti kyon ki (10w30) viscocity wala oil jaldi heat hokar patla ho jata hai jis karan engine mein friction badh jata hai aur yeh engine ke liye harmful bhi ho sakta hai.👍
After doing this my TVS Sport BS IV mileage dropped heavily. Gives 50 only. Pickup and smoothness ok. But company setting gave me around 60-63. However starting, pickup and vibration problem was there. Any solution for good mileage.

Mera gearless scooter ka accelartor idle pe ok hai, 1 & 2 position pe OFF ho raha hai aur 3rd position se phir ok hai, accelation badane par hi kyon OFF ho raha hai ?

Recently i noted that in my old activia that when trotle is released a strange sound is produced and it increases when speed get reduced and vanishes when trotle is increases. What may be the reason???, is the problem is with clutch , rollers or both ???

Sir, i have Bajaj pulsar 150dtsi 2009 model. My bike is jerking on lower gears when I shift the gear and accelerates. Secondly I had engine Tapet issue so I had given in bajaj service center they solved the problem also they hadbchange the CDI but they are unable to solve the jerking issue now when I given to solve problem of jerking they started the new problem i.e. my silencer misfires at low speed. Kindly suggest what is the problem.

Speedometer cable
Gas filter
Front shock absorber and arm metal bush these all should be change I purchased and gave to him
AFTER SERVICE my scooter gives more jurck and I feel back wheel jumping and handle give s jurck
2- mailege is droped down ( giving very less mailege)
3- from front side maybe in wheel side or may be from speedometer some heavy sound is coming on driving the scooter
I again connected to the same machanic he is not give satisfactory answer

Mera unicorn 150 hsi 2019 ka model bike mujhe start se average sahi nhi deta hai 40 to 45km max deta hai toh mujhe average badane ke liye kya kar sakhta hu aur ek problem hai ke bike pahele pickup kafi achha leta tha like 0 to 100 or 110 jane mein koi problem nhi hota tha but abhi 80 se ke upar bike ko full accelerator dena pad rha hai tab jaa ke 90 tak jaa rha hai
I am facing this issue in Activa after service (oil replace, filter replace, carburetor cleaning). Can't find the solution.
Mene new bore dalwaya uske baad se mera bike din ka pehla start sahi se hota hi nhi h, chahe subah kru ya dophar ya raat ko. Start hona hi nhi h. Or agar start ho gaya to usko acceleration de k kaafi garam krna padta h wrna agar band ho jaye to fir to usdin ye atart hona hi nhi h na hi choke pe.
Kaafi garam krne k baad agar idle oe rkh de to band ho jata h or agar chalate rahe to jese hi halki si chadai aati h tb jhatke dene lagta h.
Kya bimari h any idea ???
Sir, I had opened my Unicorn's carburetor, but that slide which u showed is not connected to the accelerator cable so I thought it was for choke. How does that slide moves up and down then ??? And for throttle there is another butterfly valve given to Which accelerator cable was attached.
That is Another type of carburetor generally used in 150cc and above
@@selfrepairguruji can you explain such carburetor . About the choke also because physically the choke cable was not attached to that slide. So couldn't get how it works. The internal flow circuit was also very complicated please explain that also. thank you !!

Fuel tap ke nichai ek chota sa fuel filter hota hai. Ussai clean kaar lijiyai aur carburetor ke drain screw ko loose kaarkai Carburetor ka bhi petrol bahar nikaal lijiyai.

carburetor mai koe problem nahi aata jaaldi. Slide (cable se jo attached hota hai) ghis jaata hai kabhi kabhi. Slide alaag se bhi aaata hai.
