I only buy cruelty free drugstore and tbh I've never been led wrong (maybe a few products 😭) but very rarely!

@@m4lwyr I had to retire very early due to a life threatening chronic health condition. So I didn't have a choice but to lower my costs for beauty products. I decided to give myself a year to find the best affordable products. I did this by watching many CZcams videos and buying products from each category, until I found the best one for my skin. I also only buy very affordable skincare products as well.
You are certainly not alone, and with so many amazing, affordable products, it's easier than ever to save money!
That pixi eye brightener is amazing! I use it with a fluffy eyeshadow brush around my eyes and I look a million times more alive.
I think I'm going to look for it at my local drugstore today...😫 I've been done wrong by so many undereye concealers/correctors/brighteners, and I can't afford things like YSL so I really hope it does the job!
King Soopers has less colors of elf lip stain but they’re only 7.00 there . Target pisses me off charging at least 2 dollars more for anything .

My favorite lip product from elf is the O FACE satin lipstick in shameless. Its a mauve plum color and it's so pretty.
Not sure if you ever tried them, but the maybelline lifter glosses are my absolute favorites & beat out any high-end gloss! ❤

It didn't work for me and a few other youtubers I follow. It was one of the worst mascaras I ever tried. Hope it works for you though.

The Milani mascara has a super wet formula that never dried and became super clumpy when trying to layer it. Not to mention when you open the tube the smell is so overwhelmingly strong. Maybe it worked for other people, but for me it’s gonna be a no.

I never buy my makeup at drugstores. It's this way too expensive! Walmart's ten times cheaper!
At my Walmart all the cosmetics are locked behind a screen. It's so embarrassing to have to ask for the person to unlock it over and over again to examine a product, I just end up giving up and not getting anything 😅 so sad because they have much better variety than the drug store as well.
My boyfriend worked at a beautiful manufacturer and said a lot of the same raw ingredients go into the same expensive and cheaper products making them almost 80% identical or it’s the same product w a different label.
I was excited ab the elf glow sunscreen but it peels bad. Most ppl notice it after several uses!

Elf is really killing me with these high ass prices how is it that a simple revlon or maybelline lipsick is around 5-6 bucks while they commin up with these 10 dollar lipsticks. I miss cheap elf lol🤣

elf is always cheap but raising it a few 2-4 more dollars is called business. You can expect everything to be 2-5 dollars it’s always going to be more. It’s just what we have to adjust to.

The Milani mascara is probably the worst mascara I’ve ever tried. It unfortunately didn’t work for me. Way too wet of a formula and got EVERYWHERE😔 I even tried wiping product off on a paper towel but it was the same thing, plus I’m just wasting it at that point

Drugstore is where you typically pick up your medication prescription.
So it could be CVS, Bartells, Walgreens, Rite Aid, or Walmart. All are where you get “drugstore makeup”.
Then of course the name brand or high end brands are only found at proper makeup shops. (Sephora, Ulta, MAC, Or even Macys…)
But are these products non-toxic? Probably not
