- These are the 10 planned reads I have for the month on July. I'm sure there will be others that sneak their way onto my list, but these are the ones I've got my eye on currently. What are you most excited to read in June?
Thanks for watching,

The Isles of the Gods sounds good 👍 Let the Woods....fun too. Interesting books. 🤞
Hi Lynn!🤞I guess we will find out!
The Book of Doors was great!!!!
I agree! It was my first read of the month. 🥳
I'm so excited to read The Last Murder at the End of the World! I hope you enjoy your reads 🩷
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it! 😊
I am so excited to see your thoughts on all of the books!! And I am even more excited for our buddy reads!!!
Thank you! I hope you have a great reading month as well. I am enjoying buddy reading with you!
I adored Cemetery Boys and I’m reading Rakesfall right now and getting all the five star feels hope you enjoy them both💞
I hope to enjoy both! I've had Cemetery Boys on my TBR for so long, so I'm excited to finally get to it.
That's a great mix of books and fun buddy reads. A Short Walk Through a Wide World looks very interesting, and Dreadful sounds like a great premise but the humour could go either way. I really liked The Book of Doors - exceptional plotting to link all the time travel aspects together and loads of great ideas. When the other books are brought in, I thought there was enough material for a 3 book series, and doing so might have given more time to add depth to the characters, but it was a very enjoyable read nonetheless. The Last Murder at the End of the World was another good one but not quite Evelyn Hardcastle level. There's a fair bit of laying out the 'rules' at the start, but the mystery is very good, the idea is original and I liked the different characters. I hope you enjoy them all and have a great month. I'm lokking forward to Strange the Dreamer (fantasy), In the Blink of an Eye (mystery-thriller) and The Nightingale (historical).
Sadly, I DNFed A Short Walk Through a Wide World. I will talk about it in an upcoming video, but long story short there were so many unanswered questions through the first 50% and the story time jumps so many times I just didn't care about what was happening. It is very hard to connect to the characters. I just started Dreadful and the jury is still out on the humor. I finished The Book of Doors and I LOVED it. I 100% agree that the plotting was exceptional and I really enjoyed the main characters journey with grief. I'm in the middle of The Last Murder at the End of the World now and it could go either way at this point. I'm definitely not as intrigued as I was with Evelyn Hardcastle.
I've never read Strange the Dreamer but I would like to at some point. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts. I've heard great things about The Nightingale. I hope you have an amazing reading month!!
I have The Book of Doors on my cart... hoping to get to it in the next couple months.
Ahh! Let me know what you think when you get to it! I hope you love it Laura!
I can't wait to read The Last Murder at The End of the World, I'm reading it in September 😊
Dreadful sounds ridiculous but fun
I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on The Last Murder at the End of the World. There were some elements of it I really liked and others I was a little irritated by. Dreadful was another one I just thought was okay. It sounded so fun, but I found it just kind of silly. Humor is very hard to judge if someone will enjoy it.
I can’t wait for you to read The Last Murder at the End of the World and hear your thoughts on it!
I'll let you know. Currently I'm 50% in and I am both frustrated and intrigued so it could go either way.
I heard about Dreadful a while ago - because Sarah Beth Durst read it and enjoyed it. So I have high hopes. I will likely wait and see what people think (my library doesn't have it) before buying.
Also, Yay for the Invisible Library!
I'll be sure to highlight Dreadful in a video as I haven't heard many people discuss it. I really want it to be good!
And yes! I can't wait to be back with Irene!
I'm down to start Pale this weekend! I should be home Thursday. 🤗
Sounds good! I hope your trip was wonderful!
I got dreadful on a whim from aardvark I’m hoping for a better cozy silly time
I just finished it. It was okay for me. I think humor is something that is really hard to pin down for different readers. I would love to chat about it when you get to it! I hope it gives you the cozy silly time you want!
The Pale House Devil & Dreadful sound like they could be fun.. 🤞🏻Then again… maybe not 😂 I’ve been disappointed by new releases this year. I hope at least Rakesfall is the 5 star read you’re predicting!
We shall see. I do think so many new releases have been let downs this year. I just DNFed 2 back to back (spoiler Rakesfall was one of them). 🤣I think I'm getting worse at predicting 5 stars.
@@Danni.Dabbles Bummer! That’s why I picked up another Abercrombie book.. I needed a tried and true reliable read!
@@Alicia-606 That may be something I need to do soon. I'm feeling slumpy...
I enjoyed this book but dnf,d How To Become A Dark Lord.
Good to know! I hope I have the same experience.
