- This #Samsung #Tab #S8 Ultra was the best tablet out in 2022. It was also the largest tablet of its kind and people were unsure of it. Let me tell you that this thing is amazing. From the screen size to the performance, watching videos, editing videos, drawing, editing photos, it does it all and might I say....... it does it VERY WELL!

Yeah I just upgraded from a tab s7+.. it feels much faster.. screen is much better too.. Brighter more colorful... Best thing is these can be had pretty cheap on the used market around 500$ or so... I sold my S7+ for 250$ and bought a used 8 ultra from 399$ it's a pretty nice upgrade for a low cost...

Is the battery OK? Heard there is issue with battery drain
@syazwimazda7540 battery life seems OK to me. If I do not use it for days, it holds a charge but then I have to charge it if I want to do some editing. Hope this information helps

It looks like they have 4 years of both major Android updates and five years of security updates.
Ask samsung. This tablet can probably take more updates in the future then what samsung is promising.

It's better than the tab s6. Depending on what you use your tablet for. Five years is a decent amount. I haven't kept up with the custom rom scene but I think you might be able to flash custom roms once software support ends.
I found an s8 ultra with keyboard, screen protector and unlocked for 400 locally. then samsung has the 800 dollars off with trade in so I AM TEMPTED

Ive used the tab 8 ultra for everything and i love it especially the display. Its only flaw would be editing large 4k video. This isnt the machine for that. Still its and amazing tablet.
I am pretty happy with the performance. I shoot my videos in 4K and upload them to my tablet to do the work in the video software. I sometimes experience a lag in the editing software but I exit it and start it back up and it seems to work just fine after that. Thanks for the comment!
