- This is one of the most stressful and intense horror games I have ever played. This was SO MUCH FUN! Night of the Consumers is a short indie horror game where you basically play an accurate simulation of what a retail job is like. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Much love and see you during the streams :D
Get Night of the Consumers here: germfood.itch.io/nightoftheco...
I stream every day live at 7PM CEST, 1PM EST, 10AM PST over on / insym

I'll be playing SCP: Containment Breach this Friday on stream ;) Thank you all for suggesting it
Ooo, nice. Scp containment breach is a great game.
Wow, That game Is hard and Scary
Please record it as I won't be able to watch it that day
you should try secret laboratory, its a fun multiplayer game, also free on steam
YES
I can tell the devs loved their first retail job LMAO
@@MarilineAdinacross yes, yes it is
We have countless horror games based on paranormal events and realistic graphics. However, out of all the horror games, this is the most realistic and accurate horror game to date
Retail is terrifying. I worked in a small store and I was honestly more terrified of being asked a question by a customer than making a mistake and having a manager see it.
I was also in VERY poor working conditions. If you work in the coolers, more power to you people! It's too cold.
that's true.. going into the walk-in freezer and doing inventory count in there felt like my heart is gonna stop and my fingers couldn't hold the pen properly after just half an hour in there (●´⌓`●)
@@cindy1763 FINALLY someone who understands the pain!! I hope you keep warm! Something that helped me was taking showers before and after work. Not blistering hot but as warm as I could stand it. I could get about an hour more of time doing this.
@@MysticalWafflez Honestly I preferred working in the cooler lmao. Less interaction with customers and it was nice and cool, compared to how hot it always was outside
@@Acrysalis I totally get that. But I got WAYY too cold. I wasn't allowed to wear a jacket until I was clocked out so it made it tough.
@@MysticalWafflez Damn, thats pretty disgusting. At my job they had jackets you could wear, but also they didnt care if we wore our own.
Imagine seeing a worker, walking up to them cause you need help, and them sprinting away to an employee-only room with the most fear-stricken face at the sight of you
This game... Brings back some very, very well repressed memories.
The "eXusssseeee Meeee" will haunt me in my dreams 😭
And the horrid giggling of the unattended toddler. 😫
I would recommend you to play SCP: Containment Breach (original). Game has very good story, but graphics not so much. Before playing it, you should do some research because this game is impossible to beginners. I do not recommend playing modded versions of this game due to their bugs and glitches.
I WOULD LOVE THIS
This would be perfect
YES
I second this recommendation
This would be amazing!
The scariest thing you can imagine: Nonstop Karens.
seriously
The strat to working overnight retail is to have earphones (Keep one open if you have machines running around the store) and to have your favorite podcast running.
i know people already requested this but PLEASE play SCP:Containment breach, it is SO fun.:)
Just about every content Creator has done this already
These variety games have been a MASSIVE breath of fresh air. Phasmo content is great, of course, but getting these gems every now and then keep things really fun and fresh.
I‘m having a deja vu right now.
Yesterday, when watching the second video of I‘m on observation duty, I thought:
‚what if Insym played Night of the Consumers? Should I recommend him that game? Nah he most likely won‘t play it anyway.‘
And now this video.
but... thats not what deja vu is
@@trashamedly2794 That‘s true, let me add something, I then dreamt about it last night.
@@DagoDuck I was abt to say you can edit it, then I saw you had a heart from Insym sooo
@@jillybean2722 yep
Loving these other games! 6 mins ago lol, I'm somehow timing this perfectly. Thanks for the amazing content! Just wondering, other than phasmophobia which of these have you enjoyed the most?
Observation duty and this game were ultra fun
I love watching these videos because it just goes to show how good underrated games are! Thanks for playing this, would love to play it myself :)
I love how your content is expanding everyday. Keep up the good work, Insym. I'm absolutely loving these horror games!
yep, in retail customers will tell you the weirdest things when they ask for help. One customer asked me where the meat flavorings were, turns out he wanted SALT and PEPPER. WTF
lmao
Had one get mad at me for allegedly not bagging the sodas correctly cause she dropped it and the sodas split open as soon as she walked out the store. couldnt replace it cause she had already walked out the door and we cant exchange food.
Dang, you just played this yesterday and now it's uploaded. You sanic fast boi. Much love Insym ❤️
This was the 1st stream of yours I managed to watch & I loved it! This game looks crazy lol... Keep up the hard work!
This has definitely been one of my faves to watch you play. So much hilarity!
18 seconds in and I'm quickly reminded why I love watching Insym!
best way to get this done in my experience is to place all the boxes where they need to be before starting any stocking, and it's way easier that way haha, helps you learn the layout better too
This was such a fun and interesting (albeit a bit wacky) stream. I would love to see you play more games like this
I love this game 😂 so intense and chaotic. Love watching your gameplays mannn
this was so much fun to watch!! great content as always Insym!!
as an overnight retail worker... seems legit lmao
This game is cursed just like actual retail XD
Good show as always Insym!
I was just thinking about this game yesterday and bam, you're playing it heh
I reccomend you to play Mists of Aiden, it's a pretty long horror game where each choice matters. I haven't played it myself but I want to as I saw another CZcamsr play it and it looked really spooky and fun
I just love Insym yeeting the box at the customers and then going "I'll just leave that there." and sprinting away.
(edited because I can't spell)
Watching this as im on my break for my retail job 😌
Love when Insym begins loosing patience lmao it's gold
Bro this game is the best short horror game ever im glad you played it
Imagine having to be told to beware a baby. That’s some nightmare stuff
i love this game, its amazing. Your reactions are priceless 😂
You've got to love the customers who get mad that you don't know what they don't know that they want.
I love all the games u play keep up he good work
"Thank you for completing the EASY mode. NORMAL mode unlocked".
I was just expecting that to happen xD
36:27 When you dont get paid enough xD
Bruh, the Suicide Squad trailer I seen in a Ad just now was fire, but I love your videos to Insym
You have a lot of patience lmao 😂 I was raging every time you got caught lol
The ran out of time showed me how you beat this heh simply (hard as hell simply mind you) get all the shelves stocked before the shift ends man I love challenges like this
I'm watching this AGAIN, lol, I love this
It would be cool to see you play QT by happy snake games, its a funny spin-off of PT which seems like it would be right up your alley! :D
When you show that lady where the cleaning isle is and she still wants to speak to your manager, truth
The old man voice saying EXCUSE ME sounds like Lorenzo from Haunting Ground. This was so fun to watch with my girlfriend we noticed all the changes in the merchandise together like the labels being different in some of them :D
Grats on beating this btw I can see how stressful the game is XD
Lovin the new green screen ❤
This brings me back memories of when I did cashiering at a toy store.
Every time I leave my counter for anything these people would be after me asking me what toy is where.
The thing about playing the songs like 2 months before the holidays on constant loop. It's the same story at supermarkets in North America. Such a traumatic period of my life working in one.
At the middle of the video I was curios - what if you put boxes before shift starts. And You did it 😄 That was so enjoyable, thank you!!
I laughed so bad 🤣
p.s. sorry for my English, not my native language, but i want to comment allllllll of your videos 💛
Oh my god bro, watching this made me laugh so hard😂😂😂
Early gang, and lmao I like the graphics of this game already just by the thumbnail
Insym my dude, if you need to take screenshots, windows has a screenshot tool built in, just push windows key+shift+s and it pulls up a screenshotting tool where you can designate the location of the ss, just like gyazo or lightshot.
Printscreen also works. Or if he wanted to, he could also add non-Steam games on Steam and use Steam's F12 that way too.
I was doing that to make screenshots yes. Although win + printscreen is better for full screenshots
I worked at Goodwill for a couple years. This is actually what it felt like
I'm a new subscriber, found you through that convenience store game. I love your content so far, you should play call of cthulhu sometime if you havent
Welcome!
The first drink he puts on the shelf at 33:40 says "Get Out." Not ominous at all, lol.
Ah, man. If you started an SCP run, you HAVE too commit some time into finding every little part of it.
Your attention too detail, way you process information, the curiosity fueled adventures we didn't even know the games we play right now have! Would make SCP runs such a, thrill.
Anyways, I'm at 34:01 so I'm going back now. Just a random thought while surfing the comment section. I hope you a decent day! ^.^
The customers sound like the scabs from the mall in South Park. The Bike Parade episode lol
This was funny lol, You should play "Karen: An outrage simulator" if you havent before ^w^
Watched it on stream, watched it again, not the phrase "Excuse me" will never be the same.
Wha-
I didn't get a notification for this yet it was recommended to me. Damn you, YT.
oh! Refreshed Subscriptions and saw 58 seconds ago!
Did you notice the items that say 'Get out' and 'You're wasting your life' as you put them on the shelves?
you know it's going to be a wild one when you get inside and the first thing you see is the other "loyal" employee running from the costumers and puking right after
LMAO "is it bugged"
27:39
I never thought I could relate to a horror game until working as a daytime retail worker
thanks for winning this cursed game, now i can rest in peace
🤣I did not expect Insym to play this game🤣🤣also would you consider playing some good old classic horrors on the channel and twitch? Like Silent Hill?
I'd love to
@@Insym 😆🌹❤️❤️
I half expected this to be a zombie game but this is such an accurate display of the horrors of retail xD
If you play this again move the boxes to aisles before starting
I did.
I worked in retail for 8 years and damn the real trauma I feel from that.
“I guess he wanted soup…”
…phhhhhhshhhhhhh AHAHAHAHA
“If I don’t cannot feel that I lose”
shshsphshs AHAHAHAHAHA
OMG i uglylaughed when the glitch happened x)
Hey hey hey, the “Australian shit” is vegemite and it’s DELICIOUS when you slather it on top of buttered toast
Play SCP: Containment Breach, very much scare
I haven’t fully finished the vid yet, but is there any way to escape the manager lol seems like no matter what you’re fired
each thing you put on the shelf has a secret message
So, seems like the game starts when you places the first items, so the best way to beat the game its move all the boxes to their spot and after that just place the items
if you don't wanna get spoke to in retail don't be tall, that will cut down the interactions most of mine are "can i borrow your height."
The baby incident.. Insym has the face of a man who really needs a drink
14:01 D.I.Y changes to D.I.E.
I love the resolution.
Dude, he looked so done at 28:40, and with the music in the background, it really topped it off
Omg there is No way i just was thinking of recomending this to you lol
Omg an scp containment breach this is THE best week of My life
That "Excuuuse meee..." is so hauntingly nightmarish.
This has triggered my anxiety from working retail T_T
For the first 11 minutes I was convinced he couldn't read
"Bring me to the ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES section"
_"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH WHY CAN'T I RUN AWAY?"_
lmao it was too intense for me
When I first watched Insym: Wow this is gr- * lost 5 years of lifespan *
After watching Insym for awhile: Heh this amount of scary stuff ain't a pro- * not enough remainder lifespan to lose, reverts into a baby *
You can find the remains of the previous employee of the month, in a crack in the wall indicating the manger killed him.
29:15 the fist bottle you put says get out instead of cool kids
Not to be the fortieth person to say this but SCP containment breach, both the original and the unity remake, are both masterpieces. I highly reccomend one, the other, or both! I reccomend doing the original first.
Danm I have to watch at night
Insym a really good idea is to pick up the boxes put them in the places they go and then you’ll have an easier time
I do that at the end
honestly if this wasnt a horror game, i think id play a lot. Im just too scared to actually play horror lol- really satisfying honestly
retail job that then turns into a horror game.... so a retail job
This game is accurate for customer service. Ive had to deal with karens, crackheads, and cranky homeless people. They make a simple job overwhelming, while making us severely underpaid.
If I had a suggestion for any game I'd want to see you play, it would be Amnesia: The Dark Descent. The game came out in 2010, but it is such a good atmospheric horror game, and you can get mods for it with fan-made stories and extensions. It's one of my all-time favorite horror games and I'd think you'd really enjoy it.
I've already played that!
@@Insym really? Dang, imma have to check that out!
Sadly you didn't know that there was a secret in this game
I could tell this entire time you were running out of room on your mouse pad LOL, I was why the hell does it look like he's struggling.
