How to water a new lawn without walking on it

This is a simple and cheap way of ensuring that you can water a new lawn sufficiently while avoiding standing on recently laid turf. To make sure that your cheap and cheerful sprinkler system can get to every corner of your lawn, you just need to attach the washing line to each corner of your garden. As I had one sprinkler covering one corner anyway, I didn't need to be so thorough though.
