    The meander is my favorite place to fish and i have fished there since i was a young 5yo catching redfin and small trout. The meander is a beautiful place

    Another great vlog. Have never fished the Meander River, but have it on my list. How did you locate your access point? Are there many access points?

      Hi mate. Yes, there are many access points and there is even a map you can grab for free from any fishing tackle shops. I usually get mine from the Essential Fly Fisher in Launceston. This map clearly shows you the many access points, alternatively any road bridge can give you access. Further upstream towards Huntsman Lake is better suited for fly fishing and wading, however spinning is still effective and downstream towards the junction with the South Esk river can also be a good section for spinning. Just beware of the very slippery rocks if you are wading :)
