Wonderful Sapa, Vietnam

Sa Pa (also written as Sapa) is a beautiful, mountainous town in northern Vietnam along the border with China, in the Lào Cai Province in the Northwest region of Vietnam. Located at 1500 meters above the sea level in Vietnam's remote northwest mountains, Sapa is famous for both its beautiful scenery and also its rich cultural diversity. Sapa is an incredibly picturesque town and area that lies in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range near the Chinese border in northwestern Vietnam, known as "the Tonkinese Alps". Many ethnic minorities live in and around Sapa. This includes minorities of H'mong, Dao, Kinh, Tay , Giay, and some other minorities.
Walking in this area, from village to village, and observing the unique life of the local people, their daily life and agricultural work ,- is a special deep impression and great pleasure.
We visited this area in Spring 2013.
