Cheers for that info. Iv been running genuine stihl tungsten chains on my little 180 for years & it cuts beautifully. I have been waiting for a fellow Aussie to give a report on a bigger machine with a tungsten chain. Thank you soooo much.
Brother, I can't believe it's firewood time again. Just worked the hardest summer of my life and we're now back into the swing of it, it's nice to have some dry wood to play around with this year though 💪
I'm just a weekend warrior & I give 90% of what I collect away to people who need it more than I do. I'm in Melbourne so collecting wood is becoming rather difficult. Hopefully get myself a big boy chainsaw soon. Pretty keen on the Stihl 500 I with carbide chain. Should be plenty of fun sticking it into some aussie gums. Cheers kev.

I just put a tungsten on my 400c-m the factory chain makes dust after 1 cut on a dry tuart.
