- Near the end of the first ever leg of Mayer's Solo Tour in 2023, John graces the crowd in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a very special night of music.
Showcasing acoustic variations of his work ranging the span of his entire career, including his biggest hits, a handful of deep fan favourites, and even one brand new song, John cultivates a sense of intimacy and trust in the audience, together establishing an atmosphere of pure joy.
I was very lucky to have been able to attend this concert and record some video and audio as well. Along with as many other clips as I could find online, I have created a new audio mix as best I can, and compiled the footage into a full concert video.

@@RonMayer thank you so much! No, not Canadian, I flew there from New Zealand just to see John for this show! (and a Seattle show which I couldn't go to cause I came down with covid immediately after the first one!)
I don't know specifics about what's happening in Canada right now, but I know things are rough in a lot of places in the world. Corporations and governments really aren't doing what's best for citizens. It's a sad reality, but like John said one time on Current Mood, life is like chocolately delight cereal. Sometimes you pour a bowl that's mostly just flakes without the chocolately bits, and it feels like its a crappy cereal. But sometimes you pour a nice balanced bowl with lots of chocolately bits and its your favourite cereal. In a life that seems to be filling up with more and more flakes over time, I try my best to take hold of the chocolately delight where I can find it.

So jealous! It was my plan to take the train down to Seattle the next morning but I woke up with a bad case of covid and had to stay in Vancouver :(
