- Ohuhu very nicely sent me a big set of their alcohol markers, so had a play with them and drew a cat!
I'd love to try more videos like this if I have the time ToT I've been really getting into traditional media again and I love watching videos of other people playing around with it.

I've always been tempted to buy some Ohuhu markers but you've convinced me!
The finished piece is absolutely gorgeous and this really helped me understand the way alcohol markers work a lot better. I've always been so scared to do something like this but I should really give it a go! I just love the colours you chose as well, they compliment each other so nicely 🥺

Ohhh the pastel orange and blue look so good together. I love the way you used the colors and markers for the whole drawing, and the teal was such a good choice-- made everything look so nicely finished! Thank you for sharing your process :D

uuuuuuuuuuuuugh i absolutely love the colors on this... i recently received some alcohol markers and messing with them has been so much fun!!! i didn't know they had pads so the markers don't bleed through though.. I've just been using random papers found throughout the house 😭
ohh well using random bits of paper is a good idea! These in particular came with this plastic sheet but not sure if others do

@@Finchwing ahhh yeah thats the one thing really keeping me from getting them. But ig i could get a marker paper pad and just accept that im only getting one side of the paper 😂 the blending and colors are just so nice. I especially love how pale colors look in alcohol markers. That soft pastel look.
yeaa the blending is so nice ngl... and tbh, I used them in one page of my sketchbook (kinda just as a blobby colourful background) and it worked as a background for the following page too LOL, so quite nice to use for like splashes of colour!@@JackTheVulture

Ahh so awesome watching you use the markers!! I love seeing the sketches and such on tumblr, but I’ve never used any art markers so actually seeing them in action is super cool!! I’m inspired to go try my watercolor pencils again, wanting you have fun experimenting at the beginning reminded me or when I first tried my set out and how much fun I had!!
