@@FishAholicTV thanks for the reply brother, ibelongoutdoors did a swordfish on a jetski with an assist boat, life by the bow did it on a bay boat, south Florida fishing channel has a few swords on 24’ bay boat, and Nick stanz has some swordfish videos on the 22’ shallow sport bay boat for reference on how but with your style of videos I think it would be cool to see here.
I’d use a 50-80 wide with 65lb braid and a drill to pull the lead up when I reset drifts w no fish. 🤙🏽

Rich, how do you adjust for these big discharges from Lake O? Saw a water quality map yesterday that showed an “F” grade for the whole St. Lucie. Not sure how different species react to this. Great video.
Well this may be surprising and but since they opened the locks. I’ve been catching more fish in the dirtier unhealthy looking area. Which I know it may seem surprising but I’m even curious about that myself. Maybe the dirtier water makes the fish less line shy and for tarpon, snook and jacks they may not be that susceptible to the extreme water change.
Rich, Are you doing any guide trips on the Indian River Lagoon? I have a paddle style kayak if that would help. Maybe you could show me around a little?

Is your 4Runner 4 wheel drive and if it is do you ever use it to pull off the ramp? I’m in the market for a new tuck and a bigger boat but I don’t know if I need 4wheel drive or not.
It is 4 wheel drive. And tbh this day I launched there was a lot of sand piled on the ramp. One car even got stuck that didn’t have 4wheel because the trailer tires got stuck in the sand when they drove their boat on to the trailer.
Nice catches but the amberjack he caught was 35 inches you measure those at the fork

Idk about the offshore bite. I only go once every two weeks if I’m lucky this time of year with my boat. I am going again tomorrow so hopefully the fish are still chewing. The inshore bite actually has been the same if not better. Even in the areas they say is really bad.

I just didn’t want it. I don’t have a smoker and I didn’t feel like going through the trouble with keeping it on ice to pass it to someone else. Because they I would have to fillet and prep it etc…. I’m also not a huge fan of eating them.
