I'm usually terrified when someone wants me to try driving their car. I do like knowing how to make sure my friend's cars are in park when they get out of the car though. One friend of mine is notorious for not putting her brake all the way in park, and it's an automatic transmission. Each time she tries to open the door and jump back into the car and nearly gets run over by her own vehicle doing that! After three times, I made her show me the Parking brake, as well as the emergency brake situation. That last time it was headed into a lake that was in a drought, and it was a big cliff with lots of deep ravines
