For Christine, it's probably a lot of running after ALL I ASK OF YOU. She change to her "Countess" wig, sing the reprise of ALL I ASK OF YOU, and then run back onstage to do the IL MUTO bows where the Phantom brings down the chandelier!
when i saw this in person last year in November, in the beginning scene when the chandelier raises up, i was tearing up because at that moment it became real that i was at my all time favorite plays for the first time
I was in a show with Hugh Panaro, and I got to go backstage when I saw phantom. I walked on the stage, went in the basement, and saw him getting his make-up off. It was so cool! My favorite was the basement, with all the candles in there :)
I saw the tour in Cleveland a couple of years ago. In fact, on a recent trip to New York, one of the things I had to do before we left was go to the Majestic and take pictures outside the theater.
I saw Marni Raab's name on the door and was so excited, because I love Marni Raab with all of my heart, but then I saw it was Jennifer and I was just a tiny bit disappointed.
How do they not know each other? They have singing parts together. Even in costume he'd be easy to recognize. Unless it was just a joke for the camera.
@MrSean24601 No problem. Wht's even more interesting is how John had to deal withe the final scene when the chair broke. He had to sit under the curtain for five min. and when meg comes over to remove the curtain he had to softly wisper "i'm still here, don't remove the curtain". he had to hand hwer the mask while still under the curtain. he laughs at it now but it probably scared the hell out of him at the time
he 's so funny :) john was the fist phantom i saw and he made me fall in love with phantom. but didn't see Jennifer it was Marni that day ;) (was he dating Jennifer?)
@MrSean24601 "I've always thought to myself "what if something were to go wrong with the chair?" my thoughts exactly. but i suppose if something went wrong with the angel, that would be more frightening
I shall be the next Christine Daaé. There is almost nothing left to teach me abiut poto and i already know all of the lines and verses to every song as long as they are the same songs as the film and or the same as the 25th aniversery proformance with Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo but Emmy Rossum and Gerard Butler will almost alwas be my favs

I was standing on that stage at the end of March. Was so amazing to see the history and costuming backstage.
