Incredible! Seduction, Selection, in hypnotic music beautifully portrayed. I relished every gesture, every 32nd triplet of Ravel's Bolero due to corps de ballet.
This remains my favorite dance interpretation of Bolero. Choreography and performance are absolutely mesmerizing, exciting, and beautiful, truly perfect and timeless!!!
Aside from the wonderful choreography, and gorgeously simple yet lavish costumes, can we take a moment to marvel at the fact that the dancers spend about 95% of the ballet maintaining this flamenco type posture, back bent backwards ?! It enhances the spanish vibe so much, but that must have been exhausting... I also like the inclusion of that brief rehearsal clip, well done !
Wonderful choreography with the music. Great dancers. The set is reminiscent of the German Expressionism films in the 20's-30's. A work of artistic genius. Bravi.
Fascinating to read all of the conflicting feedback about this choreography. I have watched this multiple times over the last few days, gradually noticing the many things that make it, I think, brilliant, beautiful and breathtaking. This choreographer simply loves dance. Definitely a "bird thing" happening here too, hahaha. I love that little bit in the rehearsal hall, and the beginning and end of this are pure magic. Wow, wow, wow.

Creo q el coreógrafo debió llevarse de España una pareja de los 'typical spanish dance figures' que antiguamente adornaban las casas españolas y tras una borrachera se dijo, voy a hacer un homenaje a mis muñequitos!!! Jaajaajaa!!! Después de ver este vídeo no me queda claro si le gustaba el baile flamenco o todo lo contrario. La bailarina y su vestuario son absolutamente elegantes e incluso vigentes (aunque después de la filmación debió quedar bastante contracturada su columna), pero lo de los bailarines no tiene nombre 🤣🤣 De verdad, me he reído con ellos un montón!!! De cualquier forma, gracias, digno de ver, los rusos siempre demuestran buena formación y pulcritud en la danza y sé que les gusta mucho la española. El toque expresionista del conjunto es genial. Al fin y al cabo es el Bolshoi!! 💃
