@@rjwoods2600 my little brother’s dad died when he was 4.5, and I was a teen. He doesn’t remember his dad at all, unfortunately. Trauma can suppress memory, also, so if remembering is too painful, the brain won’t let you in order to prioritize survival. Its not a decision to forget tho, it’s just something that happens to them.

I lost my mother 17 years ago, when I was 30, and it physically and mentally broke me. In truth, I've never been the same. I can't imagine what that precious little boy is thinking/experiencing, facing such a loss so young.

Doesn't matter if I'm standing in a room with a hundred people, I can't help but feel so desolate and alone. I had really great parents, too. They were told by many doctors for many years, that they could never have children. When they finally gave up, I surprised everyone. With that in mind, I'm sure that when growing up, I probably got away with a lot more than most of my family and friends of the same age, but we never really realize such things when we are kids.

This actually had me sobbing in the bathroom. Especially when he leaves and she breaks down alone with the nurse 😭 I can’t imagine how hard that was to explain and be composed, acceptance is the hardest stage and in that moment she accepts it for his well-being to explain it so he isn’t afraid or confused, that’s being an amazing mom.

My mom came to me in a dream just after she passed and she looked the happiest and healthiest I had ever seen her In the physical world. She held me and told me we will always be together because she is always in my heart! ❤
My best friend came with my dad the night before she passed. She fought 7 years against cancer. I saw her healthy, laughing, and dancing. I knew then she was gone just took another day for body to give out. Never woke that last day.
a week before my mom passed I had a dream I saw her walking again and being her happiest and healthiest she's ever been. she moved back to her country to be buried with her family so I didn't get to say goodbye. that dream was my goodbye. I just didn't know it yet
Same with my grandma who was more my mom. She came to me in a dream, I sat at her feet and laid my head in her lap as we talked. I hold that dream in my heart and I rarely remember my dreams. She passed away October 16th at 6pm. I was by her side when she took her last earthly breath. I said “I’ll see you later momma.” Then she was gone.
This touched my heart so deeply, such a brave little man to try to understand what his mommy is telling him, and a very brave, courageous young woman to explain what to expect and so strongly and tenderly. I’m just amazed at the true spirit of peoples strength. God please bless and love and watch over this family as they continue on in their journey 🙏💕💗😢🙏❤️💔

This actually had me sobbing in the bathroom. Especially when he leaves and she breaks down alone with the nurse 😭 I can’t imagine how hard that was to explain and be composed, acceptance is the hardest stage and in that moment she accepts it for his well-being to explain it so he isn’t afraid or confused, that’s being an amazing mom.

My mom came to me in a dream just after she passed and she looked the happiest and healthiest I had ever seen her In the physical world. She held me and told me we will always be together because she is always in my heart! ❤
And you *will* see her again! She's only gone ahead. ❤
My best friend came with my dad the night before she passed. She fought 7 years against cancer. I saw her healthy, laughing, and dancing. I knew then she was gone just took another day for body to give out. Never woke that last day.
a week before my mom passed I had a dream I saw her walking again and being her happiest and healthiest she's ever been. she moved back to her country to be buried with her family so I didn't get to say goodbye. that dream was my goodbye. I just didn't know it yet

Same with my grandma who was more my mom. She came to me in a dream, I sat at her feet and laid my head in her lap as we talked. I hold that dream in my heart and I rarely remember my dreams. She passed away October 16th at 6pm. I was by her side when she took her last earthly breath. I said “I’ll see you later momma.” Then she was gone.
