I CANT BELIEVE IT!! You actually modded the Shy Guy in!! It’s been so long… I thought for certain you were never gonna do it since I’m used to having so much bad luck with people, so while I was disappointed for a bit I just completely forgot about Mario Party 3 and moved on. Then I had to deal with all sorts of bad instances with other people. Though that’s in the past now, and things have actually been going much better the past few months!
I recently stumbled on my sketches inspired by the possibility of Game Guy being playable, making me remember and I thought “that didn’t age well” haha. But now I see this video show up! Thank you so much, having a Shy Guy finally playable in a Hudson Soft Mario Party means way too much to me!!

Yeah, he was released on November last year, enjoy the mod!! :). I ran into more crashes and issues than expected when he still was going to replace Peach, so he underwent a hiatus until I had the idea of moving him over to the Mario slot instead. We now have the Game Guy mod though and a few other new characters with stackable patches!

@@WolfGC64 I had no idea! I went inactive from discord except two friends’ servers during those issues so never saw the updates. I’m really curious why he didn’t work over Peach specifically, but I’m so excited to see Game Guy in action!! Thanks for not putting him over Yoshi haha

@@WolfGC64 I’m watching Game Guy, Yoshi, Luigi and Toad play as hard computers right now, Game Guy is so cute!!! I really want to see him land on a Game Guy space, it’d be hilarious seeing him compete against Game Guy

@@WolfGC64 It just crashed in Tidal Toss when Game Guy was the one on the boat. Can you please fix that?

@@Lizuma Peach's model being too complex compared to Game Guy and many animations crashing when it attempted to animate non-existing bones. Mario's model is simpler so the replacement works better! And glad you're having fun with the mod already!
Oh, I knew there was a rare but possible crash on Stacked Deck related to his ground pound animation, but I had no idea it happened on Tidal Toss too, thanks for reporting! I believe it's fixable by removing non-existing indexes from Game Guy's ground pound animation. On the meantime, you can use the following codes if you want to record the mod and want to avoid crashing:
Replace Tidal Toss with Thwomp Pull:
