Definitely sounds like silent racism to me. Unfortunately, it's common in predominantly white areas and I've experienced this many times. So sorry that happened to you, and no it's not just in your head.

@@benitakipela Of course, and sadly I wish we were imagining it. I think it's important for people to talk about this so we all know it isn't just in our heads. I'm from a small town area in Florida.
