This is just like the James Webb space telescope.....😂😂😂All this complexity to try to prove something..... You can't fill the tension of the bungee unless you launch over the top of your shoulder..... When a tow hook is too far back the plane will wiggle..... You can launch 78" wingspan low wing glider that weighs £4 pounds.... It doesn't come anywhere close to hitting the ground using strong 40 bungee...... Buy sampling launching over the top of your shoulder
Just a small point ... I have similar design rails and the 'lip' joint of the rails to vertical caused after numerous launches abrasion to the underside of wings ... so I cut the joint part top of so the rails now have no extra lip on top to catch the wing. I added a self-tapper screw to lock those two joints as even with full push-on joint - after a couple of launches - the rail would come out. I also changed from the bungee coming back to trigger under the model ... I had a couple of incidents where it caught in pusher prop ... so I then put the release on the front of the ramp system with short fixed line back to my trigger ... that way the trigger line will never fly up under the model ... Why not include how to build the foot release or where to buy it ? Putting the pvc pipe together is child's play but the foot launcher is another matter. I appreciate you making the video but it is half cooked
I was hoping you were going to mention the types of bungee itself and the setup used, length and tension etc.
A list of materials would also help. For example, what's the diameter of the PVC pipe?
