Tarver knows his stuff, not sure why he is not training any fighters, my opinion he would be the best trainer as he holds a hi boxing IQ, not to mention the skill set he displayed throughout his career.

Reflexes at 50 and issues like Brain elasticity and Testosterone are being ignored. The Brain does not handle punches as well. Sugar Ray Leonard said reflexes decline in your 30's to the point you can see the punches but you can't avoid em like when you are young. I think Jake's hand speed is going to be the difference to where he will land shots that will hurt 60 yr old Mike. Jake also has higher testosterone levels naturally being young. I'm 55 and hope I'm wrong but a fit 50 and a fit 20 are entirely different.
