In my country, this speaking will probably only get an 8,0 at most. My student spoke better and only got 7,5. 😅 thick accent somehow affects the score very much.

If we look at the current Visa process where numerous students having 8 or 7 bands overall also got Visa rejection for the next intake. Else those students are having 6 bands including rough SOP and academic performance (having more than 6 -7 backlogs they got visas just within a month) Additionally, this process takes so many more months than expected. What do you think about these types of disaster situations? What kinds of steps do students have to take before applying for another visa? Here, I mentioned only about Canadian Embassy and its visa approval process outputs.

Hey guys. I took my speaking test earlier this morning(Pune, India). I was asked-
Are you a student or an employee.
Do you get bored sometimes?
Reasons for getting bored?
What do you usually do to get rid of boredom
For part 2, I was asked to speak about a famous personality (why is that person famous? Do you think he deserves the fame? What are his achievements?)
For part 3, I was asked following questions-
1)Do famous people influence others?
2)Do famous people have some responsibility towards the society?
3)Sometimes, famous people endorse bad products and we blame them for that. But aren't famous people also humans and hence they should be forgiven?
All the third part questions were asked because of things that I said during second part. It felt like I was leading the interview and he was just asking me his doubts.
Overall, the experience was great. The examiner was not from my country.He was polite and made me feel comfortable.

Tomorrow is my speaking exam and its my second attempt for ielts.
My written exam is on 10th november and i am only nervous for my speaking exam .
In my first attempt I got
L-7.5
R-6.5
W-6.5
S-5.5😔😏
I was totally disappointed by idp as my written exam went wrong and they gave me 6.5 band but in speaking which i was pretty much assured to get 6.5 band they stuck at 5.5 .
Tomorrow at 1pm my test will start can anyone tell some tip to prepare for it.
Be calm, try not to be nervous. Don't try to perfectly answer the question and overthink. Just say whatever you have in your mind with good rate of speech. Think the next person is like your friend.

Vocabulary is just 25% of total IELTS' marking. Also vocabulary doesn't mean you have to use fancy word all the time, you just need to have proper word ready to describe what you're about to say or write.
If you're having issue in grammar, please improve it as much as you can as it's like a core of IELTS.

Only use capital letter to start a sentence or use it for Names
Go for computer based IELTS.
You can use all capital letters in the Listening and Reading Section answers BUT not the Writing Section.

Yes it will because you have to be calm & patient while giving your test or else the interviewer will get to know that you want to leave the test asap by looking at your body language so try to be fluent and slow there's no such problem in going at a steady pace
