I learned to drive in a 1968 Ford F100 when I was 14. It was my grandpa's truck he bought new when I was born. 6 cylinder 3 on the tree pulling a jon boat to stump lake. Maybe that is why I have a thing for these old trucks.
those old trucks have such a unique feel as you drive them.its such a pleasure to drive a machine that is so primative & mechanical.at least for short periods.they WILL wear you out after spending many hours behind the wheel at one time though.i believe thats part of the appeal in todays world of 4 wheeled ipads they call "trucks".this is considered by MANY as a "REAL" truck.& not a 4 wheel drive lincon continental.
Nicely done. I do believe I would have spent the money on full rust removal and paint though, but I totally understand what the goal here was. Preservation.
Truck was officially accepted by Bring a trailer a few days ago, don’t have a date yet on when it will launch for auction but will keep you all updated Thanks!
Those holes are from a bug sheiks that was on the truck years ago. I do agree that piece would be a nice addition to the the truck the 68 custom package did not include that molding. Thanks for watching!
That can’t be the only 69 f250 with that paint colour because I have a 1969 f250 crew cab manual 82,000 original miles my grandpa was original owner since new and it has the EXACT same paint job as this truck.
Did you bring this to the Grand National in Pigeon Forge? I think I have it in the Grand National video I made of the show. . . or one that looks a lot like it.
So that is what my '68 Merc looks like as a 4x4 with bucketseats.SWEET!Love the patina, real survivor.CONGRATS,she's SPECIAL for sure.😎👍✌🇨🇦

That truck is damn nice, thanks for sharing.
REAL ! FORD TOUGH TRUCK not these little jewels and gems you have today.
Now that is a proper side wall to wheel diameter ratio !
Nice Sandals😂😂
And pizza cutters! ❤
My first truck was a 67, same color. 390, 3 on the tree. Loved that truck.

Please watch video, the truck is a 68 and Marti report is in the video, showing it’s 1 of 1 with bucket seats and 97 with the paint code
Man what a steal and sold for $43,460. Hopefully the new owner keeps the truck as is and preserves the patina.
It’s the bucket seats in 1968 with a regular cab 4x4 it’s not just the paint code.
Wow, just wow! What a truck. Wish it could be mine
It’s perfect
Looks very original and mechanically restored. I, however, am partial to a bench seat. This type of seat is more for a Mustang. Nice survivor though.
A 481 means parchment bucket seat, custom vinyl conventional

Truck it on bring a trailer now!
Beautiful truck regardless!!!
Love it!!! Ford the best
That is a really nice truck, although FYI.. you are missing the chrome strip across the front of the hood, under ford emblems. Holes are there.

@@joshuaanderson6058Now, the holes won't let any water hang around, causing rust to the hood.🤔👍✌🇨🇦
