The wrongful sellers of the land have to be charged for stealing and wrongful sale and must be made to refund the payment with appropriate interest. Ghanaians believe stupidly that if I build on someone's land and get to a certain height the structure CANNOT be pulled down and the owner of the land will be forced to sell to the builder. The silliest belief is that if l lease land from you I can put a permanent structure on it and force the owner to renew the lease at the expiration date. A lease is a temporary transfer of ownership. The leasee can be charged to pay for the removal of any permanent structure if the owner prefers not to renew the lease
