Nice video. Couple of details.....the textured finish on the side panels of the Berzerk Replicade might make it seem like they are plastic, but the panels are actually made of wood. Also, the side panel artwork they used is actually fairly accurate to the original arcade cabinet. Unlike many arcade cabinets of the day, the graphics on the full size Berzerk cabinets were painted on using stencils.
Great review. I never knew these things existed. The ending surprised me and made me laugh.

Almost forgot...The New Wave Toys version of the Bezerk side art was actually pretty faithful looking to how the original Bezerk arcade cabinet looked. The original Bezerk cabinet side art was painted on using stencils I believe, and their side panels were wood, which is also what New Wave Toys uses for their side panels.
Oh 100%, but the texture was what was bothering me. I couldn’t find anything that indicated there was any (bumpy) texture over the wood on the cab. Just something I noticed, doing research. I could’ve missed there something though 🤔
@@NEONBattleBitch I'll have to look at mine as I don't remember the texture, but I also forgot to do the ISO-2115 cabinet body test where you run your hands along the cabinet surface to test for imperfections in the panels and for small bumps that can barely be seen, but they hide the Brazilian micro termite. Maybe that's the texture you saw? Aw mannn, if it is I'm in BIG trouble........Okay I made all l that up, but I'll still give a look 😀

I happen to have it on good certainty that the Grim Reaper himself LOVES video games for one very simple reason; no matter HOW good and talented you are at any video game, it’s all arbitrary… you WILL eventually die! (That poor dude just took the concept a bit too literallly) ☠️

The 2600 version was easier because the robots didn't shoot diagonally and half the robots would just run right into walls and explode 😂

great video especially the editing at the end. I already had the fs game but picked up both of them when they had the pre-order bundle for $250. I do wish the original bat handle was useable as a replacement, the original fs had that as an optical joystick but was replaced by the wico ball due to optics problems and longevity problems in the arcade environment
