Do you think the years of training also helped in that realisation? Most times people know this advice, but it is hard to get out of that state without action being taken. Maybe the years of proving yourself to YOURSELF, through training accumulated into what you saw as a eureka moment?

The Button is basically The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly. The viewers watch in suspense as we wait for one to draw their weapon and see who can fire off their shot first
I think this video in particular also highlights how ridiculous some of the questions/remarks can be. Like what were they thinking when asking that guy to talk dirty to a stranger in front of a camera for the whole internet to see???? Tf???

Like 2 participants have their personal clickers that they conceal in their hand, and then they can click it at any time during the interaction. The catch is, only the viewers know who rejected who first. It's such a plus because it'll be fun to see at what point each participant loses interest.

Then would be less awkward to escape the situation, and way more cringe to the people who stays watching everybody leaving (LIKE THE POOR GIRL WHO GOT A FURRY)

@@timboslice9905 I get what you're saying but I don't think they're doing it to make the other person relax (if that's what you meant). I think it's just because of not having anything better to say or anything else that you like about the person so I think it is just being polite because you want to say something nice as opposed to just sitting there and showing that you have zero interest or initial attraction to the person. Of course nobody wants to be rejected first but I don't think it's linked to the compliments given and it doesn't mean the compliments are fake.

I’m a good looking woman (so I’ve been told by lots of people) but am mildly autistic and have also faced much rejection and abuse (once they talk to me and realise I’m a bit off it is like the enthusiasm completely drains out their faces) I will not let it defeat me. Although at time it has definitely weakened me. I will always get back up again. We can do this ❤
@@simppolice944 Nah not really. I have had long term relationships (it’s just been a bit harder for me to find other ND people) I think my previous relationships have been ADHD of some sort. I also don’t dislike people when they do reject me as long as they aren’t really nasty about it. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea and that is absolutely fine. I’m just saying that people shouldn’t internalise self hatred if they’re a bit different and not for everyone.
She played herself 😂 She pressed the red button on the only man who was actually kinda into her. The problem is that we never ask if we are our 'type's' type. As in am I the person this hot man I like would actually pick out from a line up of girls to date.
The problem with this show is not cause by the fact that people think that everyone is disposable. It's the consequence of 2 things. First, people don't like being rejected, and second, people are guided by there first impression (or feeling) , which include physical attractiveness and perceived status or group identity.
It’s gets so deep, because I feel like we all have had an experience where we didn’t like someone at first but we grew to love them, But perhaps the opposite is worst. Loving them at first and finding out they suck.
Humans are visual creatures. I’m not saying the person has to be your version of a 10, but there has to be some physical attraction there. For both you and your partner. It’s nice to be desired by your partner and for you to desire them. I, personally, don’t want to force myself to try to get aroused by an ugo.
Yup, they build up this whole scenario in their head of who/how the person & relationship *could* be, then when that doesn't happen, they get upset about it. This is the real world, not a Disney movie or some stupid rom-com.
If I were on this show, I would reject everyone even if I liked anyone, just to remain undefeated. The guys need to learn to always have their hands within inches of the button.
I still maintain that the button thing would work out so much better if they would be excusing themselves when pushing the button, rather than rejecting the other person. *I hope they change it!*
And the fact she got pressed just goes to show the answer to that question💯💯💯 nobody can be honest with themselves anymore tho, always have to have an excuse for themselves
They need to split the button somehow. Only let one person press it at certain times, this way it takes away the insecure retaliation-rejection from the opposite side.

Nobody likes being rejected, you can say you don't care, but deep down inside it hurts, especially for someone who may had been repeatedly rejected before or otherwise has insecurities. Ideally, we take rejection as a normal, neutral thing, some people will love us some will hate us, understanding we can't be people pleasers nor win them all, but in reality we struggle with it and rejecting others before they reject you is a defense mechanism that can escalate to something destructive.

If you’re fat, I don’t want to date you. Millions of men would agree because it’s unattractive. That’s biological and I honestly don’t care if that’s offensive. Telling people “it’s 100% their personality” is pathetic gaslighting.

So glad I'm in a relationship. Everyone is seeking perfection in their partner when perfection isn't a thing. It's so hard out there in the dating world.
So true in my experience a lot of my female friends say I have all the right qualities to be in a good relationship and yet I’m so overlooked. I bet it’s the same for many many men out there, youre practically invisible.
I recommend trying to find someone through mutual interests. That's how my bf and I found each other. I know it's a lot harder on the male side, but if you meet women through mutual interests instead of bars, clubs, and dating aps, you will have more chance of connecting with someone. The button just shows how some ppl will rather self sabotage and take a chance and find love
In my teen years I was very scared of rejection and it really messed with my self esteem , and as a guy I didnt know how to deal with it I just took as a "Im a weak gent and I got to toughen up". Legit after years of tryna my best to fight that fear it just clicked one day "why am I tryna gain some mf approval" and for no reason my confidence just sky rocketed. To whoever this may concern, bruv if you love yourself for who you are rejection doesnt sting that much. love u for u and stop gaining ur worth from others ppls approval.
im in my teens and yeah, same problem
Do you think the years of training also helped in that realisation? Most times people know this advice, but it is hard to get out of that state without action being taken. Maybe the years of proving yourself to YOURSELF, through training accumulated into what you saw as a eureka moment?
I wouldn't consider myself shy but I am probably picky...not really into many girls...based on character. Really am fine being to myself but never shot many shots. I am no good at small talk.

@@zaer-ezart It's not that young to reject someone based on that reason. If you want 2 kids, you should be meeting the person you'll have them with by 30, ideally, so you can have the second one by 35.
But let's be real, that wasn't the actual reason.
We need a reverse button - person who presses first loses and leaves. Would love to see how crazy the contestants get
Exactly that would make more sense, if you not interested move out. This is just a competition of hitting a button.
Yes yes
Great Idea
Bc then people are gonna act terrible to get the other person to leave first
Then would be less awkward to escape the situation, and way more cringe to the people who stays watching everybody leaving (LIKE THE POOR GIRL WHO GOT A FURRY)
Lets be honest. This show has nothing to do with relationships or getting to know eachother. Its just kill time until you press the button
I saw a comment about how this game would be better if pressing the button meant you leave, not them. That way rather than people being encouraged to reject each other as quickly as possible they would be encouraged to finid things to like about each other. Thought that was not a bad idea (but def less entertaining).
@@Sophia-q4x Show would be cancelled within a month, no drama = no clicks = no $$$ from ads. @@AdaHazard If you’re giving compliments to cause a person to relax so that you can reject them before they reject you, would that be considered polite? How would you perceive it?
@@timboslice9905 I get what you're saying but I don't think they're doing it to make the other person relax (if that's what you meant). I think it's just because of not having anything better to say or anything else that you like about the person so I think it is just being polite because you want to say something nice as opposed to just sitting there and showing that you have zero interest or initial attraction to the person. Of course nobody wants to be rejected first but I don't think it's linked to the compliments given and it doesn't mean the compliments are fake.

The problem with this show is not cause by the fact that people think that everyone is disposable. It's the consequence of 2 things. First, people don't like being rejected, and second, people are guided by there first impression (or feeling) , which include physical attractiveness and perceived status or group identity.
It’s gets so deep, because I feel like we all have had an experience where we didn’t like someone at first but we grew to love them,
But perhaps the opposite is worst. Loving them at first and finding out they suck.
@@Theinternetwins2024 loving and finding out she sucks is worse. Denial is a bitch. Imo
