our on road technicians are great.
The tensioner should not have that much movement or be that close to the pulley. It is wore beyond acceptable limits and needs to be replaced.

Need more training, proper tools, proper torque wrenches..... I know they can fix it, but fixing it right the first time is a different story. These are long route buses and its too risky if not repaired in a proper shop.
These folk aren't educated enough due to poverty, also most likely some influence of cultural difference, politics and ultimately money.
They don't have proper tools and have never been shown or taught how to do it the right way.
This is coming skill shown here have come from a non educated man, which I believe is far more difficult than having knowledge or being able to follow a technical manual with all the correct settings provided.
We take for granted how blessed our life's can be in comparison to others.
Otherwise this straight up ghetto mechanics, as raw as it gets with doing it on the side of the road, no gloves, in sandals smoking cigs 😂😇
If this belt fails the only thing that will happen is the passengers had to travel without ac .. 😂 & in indian hot summer it will be a fun.

belt change on a scania or a man bus is a walk in the park and a skilled mechanic should never need another bus for reference. try changing a gearbox on one of these,thats a different story
Done one roadside by four of us with basic tools, took us 2 days, broken torque converter was the culprit
