Wow, this is great. More cost effective than using Magic Stamp blocks. I have a bunch of cheap crappy foam and wondered why I'm holding on to them. Now I know why. Cannot tell you how many times I've looked for a particular stamp similar to a design on one of my embossing folders. Tried to press design once using a magic stamp but I think your results will work better. Cannot wait to try this technique.

I love how you try so many out of the box ideas. I have used embossed paper from my embossing folders to do gel prints (very cool 2 results by the way), but never thought to try foam in embossing folders. Now I can make stamps from some of my favorite textures. Thanks Gerry!!!

@@GerrysCraftRoom I did end up using my embossing folders, but not for foam sheets. (Will do that another day). I used them with my stamping foam. I hadn’t got around to checking out my new larger foam block, so today was the day! I had lots of fun and made about 35 backgrounds AND even made some into cards. I’m always inspired by your clever ideas.

Love that baby gel plate print! I always like to run out any pigment onto different substrates for more textural effects; mostly on rice paper and such but now I need to dig out those leftover foam pieces I've used for embossing...

Looks like the switch doesn't emboss evenly on the left side of some of your foam pieces.

it's not the Switch but the pattern of the embossing folder combined with the foam, more even patterns give the best results as I explain in the video😉
