Streamed ended before Liz Truss lost by 600 votes. Thanks for the stream guys, going back and forth between this and the BBC coverage was a good way to spend my day.
Ho-oly! A bit of a spoiler but it's all so good I can't care.
Thank you for this
did they mention the green wins?
Listening to the language used by the tories this morning it's clear that they really don't understand why they lost. They all say that "We lost because we stopped sharing values with the people" sounds like a good point on face value but the way that it's always worded always sounds the same. The Tories don't see themselves as public servants, they think that they have a god-given right to rule by virtue of who they are, they are the embodiment of a hangover from the class system. The fact that 7 Million people think the Conservatives have been doing a bang up job for the last 14 years is truly mind boggling.
All the polls have closed; And the sky is grey
Rishi’s going up The Mall; On a momentous day!
He’ll be safe and warm; When he gets to L.A.
California dreamin’; On such an awesome day
California dreamin’; On such an awesome day!

The one you're looking for
Love the fact Gullis lost his seat and it’s barely been mentioned. Annoying number survived but it’s been a good day for making Tories unemployed. And congrats to the new Labour mp for Cheshire west, I may not support the party but at least he’s not a tory
Is that guy from the Jewish chronicle the same guy they had on who called for displacing Palestinians?
Sadly yes
Who needs Oli when we have Laura?
Where was olli though?
Who cares, we have Laura
who’s Laura? all we need is Emma
15:36 kickoff
Leanne lost to Wes in Ilford north by 500 votes.
Sad times.
Good riddance tories! 🥲
Thst why alot of people up north aren't that keen on the HS2 that from Manchester to London or where its from because they would rather have connections between the northern cities.
Also yes of course house building has to be done on national scheme taking into account where housing is needed and other public services that need to be built around it,this is THE problem when its left to private developers who are just on for a quick buck and do not consider services etc and are buidling for those who can afford it and usually are these executive houses with no community based planning around it like places to sit,to play and for a sense of community to develop. These places are usually soulless places on on the edge of towns and often on busy main roads that you need a car to get anywhere.
Did the lettuce outlive Truss’ career too?
We need a reation montage of the results!
I'm gutted more of the cabinet members/Tory inner circle didn't lose their seats 😭
Plaid Cymru with as many MPs as Reform and Greens 🎉
Something about the end of that stream when Johnny Mercer slowly tilting downwards as the stream progresses and eventually falls off is very funny for some reason.
“The Greens have held Bristols…that’s not a result, just a rumor.” To paraphrase Monty Python.
where is Oli?
Greens and Plaid getting 4 seats including Greens where I live
wooooahhh.... Jer-em-y Corrrrrbyn!
Glad i tapped out before that foghorn! I think id have had a heart attack
The PJ election coverage has been awesome.
Poor poor Faiza
Oli the true blue Tory couldn’t stomach the drubbing. Too busy sobbing with Michael Green
You can’t elect Starmer because he wants to offer respect and decency to all people because he won’t take a side in a culture war debate?
i have two skit mashup ideas for you guys. Mr blue sky with kier's face on someone dancing with a umbrella after its stopped raining (every drum beat at the start can be all the labour gains) and second is a black eyed peas pump it with tories on surfboards with english public as sharks and the surviving tories being close calls falling in the water and the tories that lost their seat falling in. think both would be really funny.
Great Western Fucking Rail, spot on
Of course Rwanda is going. 1:08:00
"An insider has claimed that Keir Starmer has scrapped the Conservative's Rwanda scheme on his first day as Prime Minister."
What a stupid and baseless thing to come out with
5:46:50 discuss the election! Don't talk about count binface
Who was the biggest Portillo of the night?
1:20:45 to see some one get it completely wrong!
When is John Ashworth result?
6:57:55 a Noo-Noo Labour?! now we’re talking!
Where is Oli??
Labour party own Scotland it ours politically Thomas.
7:53:50 turns out shots of vodka are not a twig
6:59:00 TWIG
"Scotland are taking a battering tonight", sums up how much contempt this channel has for Scotland and its politics
What the fuck are you on about you crank
5:10:20 why are candidates allowed in during the counting of the votes ??? Sounds a bit weird
Inspection to make sure there’s no tampering.
Counting doesn't tends to begin untill all candidates are present, you can't exactly get away with anything with your political rival right beside you
@@lewiskidd9568this is actually not true. Quite often, candidates don’t arrive until just before the count is done, sometimes, not until after it’s finished, and just before they’re expected on stage. Election fraud and tampering is prevented by having police officers and returning officers at every count.
It’s so incredibly frustrating seeing London dwelling socialists discussing Labour as though they should be a socialist party when for the vast majority of their history they have not been. Socialism is an economic state that has failed anywhere it has been tried. People don’t even really understand what they mean by socialism. Come up to the north in Brexit areas where communities have been abandoned especially by Conservative governments and talk to real people about why Labour are no good because they don’t pander to your ‘London middle class socialist principles’. It’s embarrassing, shows a huge lack of understanding or empathy with the broader country and shows a lack of understanding of the history of Labour.
Reform UK party better politically than Conservatives yes Thomas. Break away England Margaret Thatcher conservative party Reform UK party. Reform UK party want Mrs Thatcher conservative party yes 1979 to 1997. That right wing conservative party British government. David Cameron he Liberal Conservative party Thomas.
The team’s whiter than a Reform party political broadcast..
And?
Breaking News...BBC says this is an historic defeat for Labour..and a poor performance overall 😅😉
Huh ?
they're indeed underperforming, but to say this election is a historic defeat for them is plain wrong, lol.
This is an example of the labour woking class lol labour luvvies eho have no idea what they have voted for but are about to find out. They sont be affected so wont care a jot
