Does the device have to be visibly infront of the IR receivers of these different appliances, or can you still use it to control appliances with your phone if it's in a different room in the house and not directly infront of these appliances?
The irblaster leds ar arranged in a circular pattern and cover a circular area around the hatsy.
Line of sight to the applicance you want to control is required
Does the rf work wirh 868mhz?
Pretty neat setup. One question, does your fan and TV need to be connected to a Smart plug or switch for the IR controller to work with them?

I dont understand...if you have the IR device below the TV, how can you control it? Isn't it necessary for IR devices to be in the same visual field in order to work (meaning each device to look the other)?

I like that one has humidity and temp sensors , hopefully you can automate the ac and those to keep a stable temp
