What I love about Jon is that every new song is a surprise, you never know if it's an original or a cover. It can be heavy metal or bardcore but every time it's just perfect.

This version of the song, is like the end of a supernatural western story. The good man with a dark past, forced to pick up his holster, gets his friend killed in trying to stop an evil preacher claiming his atrocities as just. Burning down the corrupt town and taking the innocent few to a better place out of the valley. Legends speak of the man whom the shadows of hell, walk behind.

Well this was a surprise. I was not expecting a slow powerful ballad from this of all songs, but it worked well. It's good to see you experimenting like this.
The slower more menacing take on the song works great for Jonathan’s voice. Great cover dude would love to see you tackle more Poor Man’s Poison songs (feed the machine and give and take to name a few)

Such an INCREDIBLE cover! Most covers follow the original with speeding up when singing about the Drifter, but you manage to make it sound like an emotionally dark country song. A marvelous job! Can't wait for more!
