- hey guys today we are gonna see if its easy or not to change the spider injector from the assembly it is safe to tap on the plastic insert once you have it aligned the injector itself is at the other end but def saved more money changing this piece hit the like button guys and subscribe

How do you get that style injectors out of the intake
they have little squeeze clips at the end just squeeze and pull
I found a crack in the #6 injector hose. Its real brittle . I want to replace it. Is there any special way to pull the pintle out of the port. Mine dont have the clips you squeeze to remove. They look like the ones your workn on? Do just pull til comes out or is there a special way or tool. ?

Where you getting a cylinder 2 misfire from that bad injector? I think my unit is bad as well and want to just get the revised ac delco part so I know itll be right.
it just had 1 that was dead. its better to just get the whole assembly unfortunatly not everyone can afford it

Did you change all the injector clips? Just wondering if I should replace mine. Only $10 for the 8 on Amazon, and they have holders on the top so you can clip them in and reuse
How did you remove the conversion injectors from the ports to change the injector
it just has clips you have to pinch
How did you pinch them to get them out? Please because I'm stuck
I have a 2003 4.3 vortec v6. Recently just started having problems . Rough idle , hesitating, wants to stall feels like. Have a p0300 code. Just started having white bluish exhaust. Coolant level is good, not burning oil. Could it be a stuck injector or bad coil? Recently changed fuel pump and filter.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks..
i would start with a tune up if the injector was bad it would have terrible fuel millage
You figure it out? On top of all that, I’m getting about 8 mpg in a 96 Sonoma. Should get closer to 25....
It was one Of the injectors on the spider assembly.. running good now after replacing it with new spider injector assembly ..
@@raymedinaj8055 how did you end up diagnosing to one specific injector? I did a tune up and still get a p300 code. I do have spark to all spark plugs just two of them rpm doesn’t go down like when I unplug the rest.
@@alfonsohernandez3414 I removed the housing that covers the spider assembly and saw that the tubing to the injector was cracked and brittle leaking gas . Falling apart when I touched it
How would I know if I need fuel injectors. Here is my story. Back in 2009 I added octane booster to my 4,3 thinking I will get more power. It started to run bad,until I ran the gas out, and even then it started a hard crank issue. I brought it to a chevy dealership and they claimed nothing was wrong. it kept the issue. FF to 2015 my intake gasket blew, and i had to change it myself( i didnt know what i was doing). when i changed the plemum gasket i think i may have snaped the plastic that holds the injector it. the truck still ran well, with the hard start. 2019 the truck started a extreme hard start and I changed the fuel pump and filter, thinking that was the issue. now today im having a worse hard start and misfire when i try to drive it. I changed the MAF sensor and it didnt help
easiest way to find out would be to pull spark plugs if any are covered in fuel check compression on that cylinder if the compression is good and you have spark then that would be a stuck injector
@@uglyhp8225 update yesterday I changed my fuel injectors, one was broke, and had tons of fuel in my upper intake. Now I have a bigger problem. I dont know if i bent the spider, didnt tighten the intake, or whats my problem. It cranks well, but runs terrible, I cant even put it in gear without it killing
Some aftermarket spider injector are hard put in without popping tips off because hoses are stiff as putting it in clips. I already had put spider injector in oven for few mins to form the hoses putting it intake before cools. but do it without tips on. Then when cools take back off put tips back on reinstall it
@@natebean151 thanks. I finally got them in, and drove the truck for a day,it ran perfect, and now its not cranking at all. Do you think the fuel injectors went bad that fast?
When say not cranking you mean starter not rotating at all or u mean starter rotating the motor not starting. Sounds like different problem if starter not engaging
How do I diagnose and find the bad injector
you can hook everything up with the intake off and crank it and see which injector is not spraying the same or constantly spraying,
How did u find out witch one was bad
scanner showed a dead cylinder that had good spark and good compression
@@uglyhp8225 I just did the spark plug smell test all other cyl were firing and spraying besides cyl 5 it has good compression just no juice
Could've probably just cleaned them
would you wanna go threw the labor of getting them out cleaning them and putting them back just to maybe fix the issue i would totally agree if the part was no longer available but the chance it working and not having a issue again for the next 100k are pretty low
